Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

Being allowed and crazy enough to actually be up are 2 different things.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly wednesday is here
My Godmother is having her knee replaced today. She is 76 and still going strong. If anyone is inclined prayers her way would be appreciated.
And I thought I was crazy for waking at 5 AM.

Sending thoughts and prayers to your godmother!

Good morning. Doing a joint tax return today for me and my wife.
Thanks for reminding me.

Pfft. There is no room for common sense in the Lodge. ;)
Common sense? What's that?

Afternoon, Lodge. Been a good day so far...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

I need to do my state returns. Why are those so much more complicated then the federal returns.

Anyway, leaving for MN shortly.

You live in the wrong state perhaps. I find them trivial. Besides for a few additions and subtractions which the computer program handles, they are the same in DC. Of course, we aren't a state. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

Lunch break here. First morning of training has gone smoothly.

It is only March and it is way too hot here...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

All of us who participated in the great repping back in 2007 are certifiably crazy. :D

In my case that would be an improvement in my mental well being. Thanks for the upgrade, Ralph.;)
What Shot said. Thanks for the upgrade, Ralph!

Good evening, Lodge. I'm excited to meet with my advisor tomorrow... and I'm even more excited to come home after that and start making shepherd's pie. :)

Back from the hospital. Loooong day. Thanks for all the prayers everyone. GodMum walked 30 ft on her new knee. She is amazing!

Mr. on the other hand is in the dog house. I called to say I was heading home and he is surprised I am not home already. I must've said I had no idea when I would be getting home a dozen times. Meanwhile his father comes every Wednesday night for dinner. Lil has practice at 7pm. He just assumed I would be home. So I get home the FIL car is in the driveway, no one is home, there is no dinner, no note, no message. So either he thinks I am going to make dinner after being at the hospital for 12+ hours (not a wise presumption) or he is bringing something home (highly doubtful)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #131: Spring is here!

Speaking of rep, I now only "have much to be proud of". (A noob from my own fanbase! He's been acting the fool in other teams' threads, and say what you will about BU fans, generally we're good at not trolling up other threads. Now this guy's embarrassing us. So I said straight away, "Don't be a jerk in other people's threads, it's embarrassing." And he neg reps me. The ballz on this guy!)

I don't mind the occasional red square; I know it'll get balanced out soon enough. But this guy? ::scratches side of jaw with back of fingertips:: I'm not a fan of organized rep violence; but I do know some people who sometimes choose to visit those that would act uncivilized-like, to deliver signs of concern. I of course don't encourage such action.

:D

The conference playoffs are right around the corner and hockey weather has arrived just in time to greet them. Currently in my neighborhood in Denver it's seventy-two degrees with nine percent humidity.:D

...and was unwise enough to wonder why I didn't know to have dinner ready. So mad I am speechless. He has been home since 3:30. grrr. Not the doghouse. A large kennel.
