Maybe. Depends on my mood, and I do try and spread the wealth.

After 2 weeks of 50 hour work weeks, we're back to normal starting times. And thank Parise for that. Talk about a failed experiment. As for the split off-site duties, not one truck of the other guy's has been on time at the end of the night. Besides last Friday's debacle, only one truck of mine has been late. Hope mgmt sees what needs to be done, and does it. One can only hope...

I can't wait to have a bar.... don't know if it will ever happen... in my dream world I have a functioning mancave or man-space.... pool table, bar, TV/couch, music, etc. The ultimate play space... that's what I'm working towards.

If I ever bought a house or townhouse, I'd want the basement to be a retro-kitschy/campy/etc decor. I already have my "Dogs Playing Poker" wall hanging. Would like to get a good Velvet Elvis, lava lamp, hula girl lamp, that sort of thing. A room/area where you walk in, and you simply think: "Oh. My. God. What the hell?"

My bar is for outside, back in the woods, I have a fire pit back there that I'm moving into the woods and out of the yard. I'm building an L shaped free standing deck to put next to the fire pit, and I'm building a bar to put on one of the sections of the deck. It is meant to be a place to hang out around a campfire on summer nights. And I needed a project to work on to keep me off of the couch.

My bar is for outside, back in the woods, I have a fire pit back there that I'm moving into the woods and out of the yard. I'm building an L shaped free standing deck to put next to the fire pit, and I'm building a bar to put on one of the sections of the deck. It is meant to be a place to hang out around a campfire on summer nights. And I needed a project to work on to keep me off of the couch.

You mean your hundreds of books aren't tempting?

And hey, if you have the Stieg Larsson or whatever the person is that wrote "The Girl With" series, which I think you do, I'd like to borrow them, if I could. My interest is piqued enough to read them.

You can borrow them, they're pretty good books. Read them before you see the movies. I could sit in here and read but then I feel so **** lazy. If I spend a couple hours working in the garage I actually feel like I've accomplished something after work.

And I work hard enough at work (and not post on here, like you ) so I like to do nothing really productive after work.

Thanks. I do want to see the movies, but it just seems to me that this is a series that should be read before watched, from what I hear.

Its because I just sit at a desk all day at work that I need to work on stuff when I get home. As soon as some snow melts I have a tree to cut up in the back yard and about 6 that we need to fall. Goddamm oak wilt.

And yep, I agree on your "desk job." I get a workout at my job. I'm sure if I pushed pencils all day, I'd need to do something active outside of work.

My flight gets in at about 11:30 on friday. I'm taking the rest of the day off after I get back, and going straight downtown after I leave the airport. As long as my flights are on time I'll be there for all of friday.

So I'm guessing ETA would be about 1pm, unless you don't check baggage. Depending on the afternoon game, I may be tailgating, I may do the partial game, I may see the whole game. Last couple of years, we've bailed after the 2nd period, because the teams and game sucked, and wasn't worth watching anymore.

Edina peewee B2 Green on to the District 6 championship on Sunday. As second place in regular season they played the third place team, Burnsville. 6-1 final with the 1 score with about 13 seconds left. Meanwhile the other Edina team who finished in first had to go through regulation, 2 OTs and a shootout to beat the 9th place team. Jr. had the third goal for us, a shortie.

Dollar bet. I say 1:00 or later you will show at the GPL tailgate area behind the DQ, given the checked baggage. If there is any inclement weather, bet is off. Staffing issues, other non-weather-related issues, bet is still on.
