I surprisingly would have rather worked outside today. More air movement. :o

Seems like this "matching DP/Temp" trend is in quite a few places right now.

245 am in New Orleans, 78 degrees and a dew point of 77. You ain't kidding, although it is much nicer inside the boat.

So my grandfather fell and broke his hip last night. That's all I've been told. Honestly, surprised it hasn't happened sooner, he's been pretty unsteady for the past 8-10 years, and has taken a couple falls where he was lucky not to come out worse for wear. Was really looking forward to a full 2 weeks home next week, but now I'm hoping I don't NEED to fly up there and see him. Obviously, I will if I should, but I'm hoping that this won't end up being a virtual death sentence and the beginning of a downward spiral for him.

I think my very masculine manager is about to start crying in the office soon. We're going through these surveys right now that have been taken at a company level, department level, and of the manager himself. We have a gloomy office in 2013. My manager thought things were much different than the department as a whole did.

I think it's the season for anyone at all involved in the financial markets because of the traditionally light trading volumes during the summer months. And people just don't like to buy insurance during the summers, either.

On the phone AGAIN with Verizon. Need to change my internet server- these guys are BRUTAL- there in no internal number to call the local service. I have now passed 5 hours trying to solve my connectivity problem. Every time I need to contact another continent, be put on hold, go through a middle person who tries to tell me they need to problem solve before escalating me rinse lather and repeat. Realizing I need to switch. Problem is I have had my Verizon email forever. Can't do anything until I have a laptop. Then I need to reinstall Outlook, import the contacts, etc.

Now they are sending me a free modem/Router that is made by Verizon but I just had someone network all the things including a guest network. Will need to return the thing to BB. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo unhappy.
