Good Morning, MEUSA! :)

Good Morning to the rest of tLodge! :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

Thanks Brent! I hit submit on that post and the game was over about 14 seconds later. *sigh* I'll be avoiding DI for a while.

So, I don't know if it's the iPhone, the AT&T service or the Garden, or some sort of combo of all three, but I was having the worst time tonight trying to post and update Facebook, or on USCHO. And the battery drained so goddammed quickly. I wasn't a happy camper.
:( Is anyone happy but the beagles fans? I always avoid DI. The fanboys or what ever they are are way too much for me to handle when they wander in our little, inconsequential thread and go on about their superiority. Can't imagine a steady diet of it.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! terrible tuesday is here.
It is snowing again...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!?!?!?!??!?!!!

She'll have the chance to butcher O, Cramada! as well as the Star Spangled Banner.;)

"O'er the ramparts we watched, Aguilera's bad screaming..."
Passed my exam today. They didn't tell me how close it was, but close enuff I guess. There was still some stuff on it that I would have liked to have studied more, but most of that was on eastern modalities and the theories behind them. I really don't do that kind stuff, but it is kinda nice to have some knowledge of it.
Congrats, partier!

Good morning, Lodge! I got to work early today to prep for class (the Civil War's about to break out), and found out that due to weather all classes are delayed two hours.

The Spanish Civil War? The Loyalists never had a chance once Germany got involved.

Totally. And that's the kind of deeper thinking I want to see from my students. It's like the orders that "Fighting Joe" Hooker misunderstood at Chancellorsville because Francisco Franco wrote them in Spanish: who knows what could have happened?

I think you would fail any student who mixed Franco and Joe Hooker. :p

Syracuse plays Rochester that night at home. Both American teams, so unless it's an extra performance, the only song she would sign would be the National Anthem.

O' Canada is usually played only when a Canadian AHL team comes to town.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 129: Still got those Winter Blues...

My neighborhood had three to four inches of snow last night and today's forecast calls for an additional three to five inches. Temp now is ten degrees which is the forecasted high for the day. It's going to be an ugly evening rush hour. Winter seems to have taken up residence in Denver for the last two weeks.

Breckenridge is in the path of a storm which is forecast to leave eight to twenty inches on the mountains in the central part of the state. I'm glad to hear that as my wife and I are heading for the slopes late Thursday for several days of skiing with my brother and his family. :)
