Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

What a terrible night. Surrounded by Sioux fans AND Packers fans. Some hag had most of the bar chanting GO PACK GO....for just about every first down. At the * hockey bar.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Les... you may actually be more familiar than I... is it ALL census records that become available after 72(?) years or just the decennial census?

I think the second one. RFAlph is the serious pro.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

You can't access stuff for 70 yrs for census, or any vital records. You need to get back one more generation to be able to find anything. That said I have the superduper version of that if you need anything that is restricted.

WOuld be bellying up to the * bar except I am crazy busy prepping for Lil's confirmation and from what I hear the team never showed up anyway....
Birth, Death or Marriage records is all I have been trying to find. Census records haven't seemed very valuable to me so far.

I can find marriage(s) for my parents, but not their parents.

ETA: Also, $13-30 per month is pretty steep fees.

Greetings from the Happy Hockey Table. A round of beverages for all my friends suffering at the *hockey bar.

Good win for the Terriers over Harvard (sucks). Which is good because I'm sure points will be few and far between next week.

Repeating the offer. Census is actually helpful. In many it will tell you the age, how long they have been married, number of kids, how many are living, where they were born, where their parents were born, etc. ALso depending you can find relatives in the same neighborhood. Can't say I looked up vitals on there. Had that already when I started using it.

Nighty night nocturnal ones.

So I think our school switched from a custom DirecTV to Fios... included are several major network stations in HD, universal sports HD, HBO, and some other goodies. This. Is. Awesome.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

morning Lodge. I haven't moved from the happy hockey table since last night.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Morning Lodge. I peed on Bro Gin's Happy Hockey Table in my drunken stupor coming from the * Hockey Table.

It's cold out, -2 last night. Snow tomorrow (again). Then it's supposed to drop to -15 by Thursday. Fun week!

You get a one day respite tomorrow when it gets up to about 25. Even today shouldn't be too bad at 12.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

The morning commute tomorrow is going to be a steaming pile of **** with the snow. Hopefully the traffic levels will be lower with it being a minor holiday and all.

Just home from church. Denver omelets are being prepared along with thick-cut bacon, hazlenut coffee and cranberry-orange muffins. Enjoy your day folks.:)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Sounds like it will be awesome weather for driving to Grand Forks tomorrow! And equally awesome weather all week for me to be working on an engine outside!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE!! sunday. day of rest?

Lil is confirmed. Our family, which sometimes doesn't come thru for things filled 3 pews. (My Dad and Mum, both confirmed church avoiders) took communion at the same rail  Luncheon was a success with 21 not including us. Lil asked for $ to be donated for the mission trip group he is going on to So. Dakota this summer instead of gifts. Folks gave >500 dollars toward the trip. Almost enough to totally finance one kid. Way awesome. His Godmum is paying for his trip so the $ will go toward the people that are having trouble affording it. Sometimes he really is an awesome kid.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Congrats to Lil! And to you too, for all the preparation you most likely did. :)

Just got back from skiing for the day. Showering then going to the Apple store in NYC to get a nice shiny new ipod and then Dinosaur BBQ for dinner.
