Even tho' I'm out of town my seat at the *hockey table is reserved. Will need a drink for more than the loss. Flight took off more than 2 hours late. Currently in a town car being driven to the hotel in Evanston by a dude named Winston. This car service does not take credit cards. Not good.

Happily ensconced in my hotel room. Big fan of Hiltons. Joined Hilton Honors on Sunday. When I checked in I got free Oreos and 2 non alcoholic beverages from their little store. So I got milk (for the Oreos) and oj for the morning. DirecTV in the room and free Internet. Wish I was staying longer!

I'm bunking up at the CanadInn, those clever canucks. They advertise that they were one of the 50 best managed corporations in Canada last year, are there more than 50 companies from Canada? :p

When it comes to work trips I've always been a big fan of Holiday Inn Express. Personal trips (particularly road trips) Embassy Suites is the way to go.

Only Canadian company I can think of is Potash.

What about ScotiaBank, Air Canada and Bell? (Yes I only know about them because they bought naming rights to sports venues)
