I'm getting the feeling that someone is pushing his luck.

What a sucky day to have off. I think I need to come into the office tomorrow as my desk is a mess and I need to organize things. I can never find time during the day to do that.

My friend that just beat cancer (yay!) is back at work and can now join me on our regular Thursday night drinks. It was good to have her back. We went out last night so she and another friend could treat me for my birthday a couple of weeks late. They brought cupcakes! Hottie bartender brought them out and joined in the singing.

No hockey tonight. I should relish the night off and start packing for my trip next week.
The crappy weather ended up working out in my favor as I didn't have any excuse to not do my homework and more school research as things have not gone well with plan A and I need a few back up plans...stat.

Good to hear about yourt friend - and that sounds adorable... :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

I've found some interesting work that was done in my house since moving in, nothing too bad and nothing really unexpected but strange nontheless. In the bedroom that will be my sister's, we knew that the sheetrock would have to be replaced on one wall, it was in tough shape, from what looked like some kind of water damage. But there was no signs of any other water damage in the house. So we tore off the sheetrock and found that there had, at one time, been a window on that wall, that had been replaced. They filled in the window so they could run a water pipe through the wall, for an outside faucet. Well, the chunk that they replaced was really half assed, so I'm going to just replace that section of the wall, it won't be too tough of a job and it should be done. I also shut off the water pipe, since we are assuming that the water damage came from that pipe. I will run a new outdoor faucet out the back of the house, so then it won't have to run so far along the wall, it can go straight through. At least I haven't found anything major yet...
You guys wouldn't believe some of the stuff we found when renovating the house in NC. Started with the floor joists. Now I realize that sometimes they aren't always spaced exactly 16" on center, but one gap was 27". We had two roofs over a section of our house, with about 3 feet of space between the two. The original structure was a trailer of some sort. When they built the house, instead of taking down the outer structure of the trailer, they left it in place. Hence, the two roofs and the nine inch thick wall between the back hallway and the kitchen. We also have a crawl space with a dirt floor and no vapor barrier between the crawl space and the underside of the house. Very little is square or level. The entire subfloor in the dining room and one bedroom will have to be replaced.

The scary part is that when Mr. Hit bought the place, the home inspector said it was one of the best built houses he had ever seen. I'd hate to see what he thinks was a crappily built house!

At the* hockey, bored out of my skull hockey table with a chocolate milk on my mind. Worst gme in forever. Uninspired play from both sides AND we are losing

Yikes!!! Hell, at least tell me it was the best built from the time period it was orginally built. They're suppost to have codes to be on the level at least now.

So, is the Scoreboard page not including any scores for anyone else, or just me?

* hockey with the nails that Jesus was hung with. * it all to hell. Burn it it Ralph Engelstad's oven. Glue Mohammed's face on it and send it to the leader of Islam.

Then bring it to me so I can really torture it.

Good Evening, Lodge!

Sitting around watching the Wisconsin/Minnesota game and making as many bracelets and necklaces as I can before next weekend's craft fair. Mr. wore Black is out of town for a conference so I don't have a DD this weekend. I am glad that I have a fridge full of Molson Canadian and Harp.

The Gophers were sitting around watching tonight's game, too.
