So, I just went to sign up for Extra tonight as I got another neg rep, not signed and no comment, and the sign up page is disabled. This upgrade leaves a lot to be desired. A refill would be nice if any of you are so inclined.

Thanks guys. Oh Brent - heard an interesting rumor tonight about the 2011-2012 season. Potential BU-Minn outdoor game at the new UMinn football stadium. You guys hear anything about that?

MN wants an outdoor game really bad (stadium is literally across the street from the arena). WI balked at it, due to it being a conference game. There's been a smattering of ideas of having some sort of outdoor Hockey Day also, but I think that's a sort of grassroots effort/the dreams of fans.

That's about all I've heard. I'd love a triple header for outdoor hockey, though. HS, then Gophers, then Wild. That'd rule.

Was thinking of burning kittens tonite, but then the guys went inside for halftime and got their asses chewed out, and then shut down the other team for the second half. Was also about to kick a puppy with our kicker hitting the uprights all nite. He just needed to hit the crossbar for the hattrick.

I could aspire to worse- a well known icon of the board and a video game inventor :D

Off to breakfast with the other side of the fam (FFF- Forced family fun) because of course one side can't get attention without the other side doing so. DIvorce stuff is so stupid. Lil is working the Baystate Marathon. Brrr!! Mr is still sleeping- he is the smart one.

Morning, Lodge. I'm at the "spent time with my friends last night instead of watching hockey" table :o And, given our result, it sounds like I made a decent choice. Would have liked to have seen Brent's rant sooner though :eek:

Morning!

I drank more than I was planning to last night. So its surprising that I got up at 8 am. But this coffee is helping!

I found out that Rosen's is a WI football hang out. It was packed to the gills while everywhere else was only sparsely populated.

Morning, Lodge. Fun game at UNH with Michigan last night. Had something happen that I've never seen before: Burlon was standing in front me at warm ups (on the glass to the right of the net) and I was sort of making fun of him...bunny ears, looking for lice, etc. and he turned around, smiled, huffed on the glass and drew a heart. We were in hysterics. Good to see Michigan players have a sense of humor (though not so much about the sign regarding property values). The team manager did like the one that said "Red makes Jack Parker look young...and Shawn Walsh look lively". :p

BTW - pix for the aforementioned cupcakes are in the USCHO Cooks thread.

Yay, NFL Sunday! It's a new day, it's sunny out, and most of my FFL team(s) are healthy. And I get a free appetizer and a free $10 at OC, because of their various promos. Life is good.
