That's my point. A rare shot by me gets the wrath, whereas MN deals with hourly shots by everyone.

Well, I can honestly see where she's coming from. Some people take their hockey pride pretty seriously. I do as well, to an extent. When my team loses I feel like crap. When they win, it feels awesome. When someone rips into my school, especially when it comes to a sensitive subject it does get to me a bit.
The Gophers are my favorite sports team, save for the Twins (and even then it's ridiculously close and will vary depending upon which team is playing at the time ).

Ya, Clarkson has a thing with SLUzers and SLU(t), but it doesn't get to me, never really did to be honest.
That said, I live and die by the team as well, as I imagine any hardcore fan does with his/her respective team.

The entire 2007-08 season was one extended meltdown for me.
And my Mankato Meltdown wasn't entirely hockey related so much as it was $4,000 in body damage related. I call it the game that cost me $500 (insurance deductible.) Incidentally, it was the final Tech home game I attended as a student as well, so I had to go out on that note too.
/finally paid off the last of my debt to my parents that all started as a result of that
