Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 122: Autumn has arrived.

Could you use it in a sentence please? What is the country of origin? Are there any other pronunciations of this word?

I wanted to sound really smart while mocking somebody, so I called that bloody idiot in the LSSU thread a simpleton.

Delicious!

Unfortunately, not today after all. :o Apparently hardly any stores carry fresh-pressed cider without preservatives (whether pasteurized or not), so I had to order 5 gallons from one of the orchards. It ought to be done either tomorrow or next Tuesday, so I'll start then.

I didn't get my base transfer. I'm nearing my breaking point. :(

Well, scheisse. Hope it comes through for you after all!

I kind of want to be Minnie Mouse for Halloween (we're going to be near Disney and potentially at the Magic Kingdom's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party). Where do adults buy costumes? I don't think I've dressed up since about the 8th grade.

Try the Adult Store. ;) :D

I'd try any kind of costume shop or Halloween store near you. We have them up here in the UP so I'd be willing to bet they have them by you.

Otherwise, you can find a cute party dress and matching shoes at a thrift store, then buy ears when you get to Disney.

You won't find cider without preservatives in the supermarket; you did right by going to an orchard.

I'm trying...and it's not going well...
Sending good thoughts your way; you'll make it through.

So the mac and cheese was a success.

Slutty Minnie? ;) :D

I'm sure "adult" costume stores have something like that.

Strangely enough, the only kind without preservatives was the store brand, but that was pretty much just apple juice. Besides, may as well support a local business and know I got high-quality ingredients.

To piggyback off 'diva's suggestion, you could probably make ears from paper plates or something, painted black. Of course, you'll have to make sure Disney doesn't sue you! ;)

Jack's costume shop is in town near Chinatown. Time also to use the innernets! ;)

I'm sure you were quite the moody woman when you were pregnant with him, so it's no wonder where he got it from. ;)
