My kid had a buddy over Friday night for a "sleep over" which should be called a "stay-up over." The we had to get them both up about 10 'cause the local orthodontist was having fittings for free custom mouthguards. The other kid wasn't too bad, but we were ready to plant our kid too on Saturday.
New rule of lights out at midnight for sleep-overs, even on weekend nights.

First try-out scrimmage was yesterday and the buddy scored two goals and my kid got one on the first shift of the game so I guess they both got over their sleep deprivation.

Phew, I am glad it is Monday! Mr. is now in season (win against the Xmen) Lil had way too much to do this weekend. 4 hockey games, hockey practice and an XC meet. He was really getting grumpy because he hadn't scored (in hockey). It was like driving Eyore every where. I was ready to to plant him like an onion. TG he finally chipped one in last night. All of a sudden all the whining stopped. No idea what that was about. He usually plays D. It isn't like he usually scores anyway.Teen boy moodiness is so pleasant!
