Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 122: Autumn has arrived.

Morning!

Finally to the last day of the work week for me.

I read through all the earworms and I am happy to state none of them stuck. :D The songs that generally get stuck in my head are TV theme songs and christmas songs. Which is odd when its June.

Last week it was the A-Team theme song.

And on the subject of earworms, the one running through my head the last two days:
Don't cry for me Argentina

and various other lines from Evita.
There are other lines in Evita? :)

I obviously missed something. I figured that Mini-legal was your new daughter. Now that you have written that it's a he, who is he?

Is this the part where we post:
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
Jingle all the way.....

I don't think she nicknamed the newest addition yet.
Miss wiggles

Miss wiggles

Or wiggle worm.

Ralph - mini-Legal is Legal's stepson, not to be confused with the Sun who is Legal's stepdaughter. Both from her first marriage to thex. (I think I got that right.)

I didn't know we started thread killing in the Lodge in the 300s.

Good Morning Lodge.

Tryouts start for my kid tonight and of course he is sick. Stayed home from school yesterday with a cold and was still sleeping when I left this morning.

Morning!

Went for a run this am before the rain, but now my lungs hurt... Feeling a tad drained and the parents at this house only drink decaf. :(

Yes there are other lines in Evita:

On this night of a thousand stars
BA, BA, Buenos Aries

As far as Mini-legal, Goldy has it right. :)

Miss wiggles
or just Miss Wiggle. (short for Wiggle Worm, which is what she is whenever we try to change her)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 122: Autumn has arrived.

Good morning, Lodge! The weekend starts at noon today, just because.
And the regular season starts Saturday!

Heady days, my friends.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 122: Autumn has arrived.

Good morning. :)

GO AIR FORCE! SUBMERGE NAVY!
"You must spread some reputation around before giving it to A Shot and a Goal again."

There are some midshipmen (Naval Academy semester exchange students) here at USAFA, and this week-long buildup to the Navy game has been interesting for them. One guy showed up to class in his thermal underwear and shower shoes, because his AF classmates raided his room the night prior and "borrowed" all his uniforms!

Go Air Force!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 122: Autumn has arrived.

What the hell's the point of that?
I think one of the parents suffers from migraines, which might explain the lack of caffeine, but surely not everyone has to suffer! :p I just need to get back in the habit of making myself coffee at home.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 122: Autumn has arrived.

Seriously. That's like sex with a condom.

And really, that's just terrible. Sex is WAY better with a woman.

Do they have a Keurig? If so, would you like French Vanilla (lighter roast), Nantucket Blend (medium roast), or a Dark Roast? You can text me, or, y'know, take some from the cabinet at home, since we have a bunch in there (don't think we have any dark roast).

That just had to be an interesting day for the lad.

I held Air Force football season tickets for thirty years. For me, one of the highlights of each season was the "exchange of prisoners" before the Army or Navy game, whichever happened to be played in Falcon Stadium in any given year. There were always some great hijinks associated with the ceremony.

Most people, including those who frequent this site, have no idea that the Air Force, Naval and Army military academies exchange students on a regular basis and that on any day of the academic year there are students from all three academies on each of the three campuses (i.e. students from West Point and Annapolis are in the Springs, et cetera).
