No worries Bob. GV wins in a thriller. Now if I could just talk the resident Ferris fan here into taking an hour drive west tomorrow night to watch his school play.

Compared to yesterday, the hurricane predictions for my house are much more favorable. Looks to be tracking alittle further east and may be weaker when it goes by. Yea

Why am I up this early?

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! friday is here. thank goodness.

lil is off to the bus a tad earlier this AM. He is downright cheerful and awake this AM. Hurricaine is not coming as close as they thought but we will have the crazies out today- long weekend and threatened storm.:rolleyes:

So far we have a few clouds and a bit of wind here in 202land, but nothing worse than one gets on a typical day. It looks like that it will pass the closest in the early afternoon.

Good morning and good luck everyone in the NE during today's (and tomorrow's?) noreaster. :)

Fun couple vacation days, got to spend the afternoon with my daughter at the eye doctor and this morning I get to take the van to the car doctor (nothing major). Yay.

If it's the same technology that powers the Google Voice voicemail to e-mail feature, it's going to have it's inaccuracies, but it gets the gist of the message across.

I know how that goes. I had a bad wheel bearing (based on my own diagnosis) and asked them to take a look at my rear differential. There was a small leak that had been leaving spots on my garage floor.

Bad pinion seal and flange on the differential plus the wheel bearing. $1065...

Morning lodge. Currently locked out of my buddys house. iPod was about dead and went to my car to plug it in. Didn't realize that the door locked behind me. :-(

Hi Lodge. Got the go-ahead to leave at 2:30 today. I may be here a little later than that. The hurricane has weakened but the hotel/resort we were supposed to go to is closed. We may call another place tomorrow and just head down there so the weekend isn't a total wash. It's sunny out now.

Oh, and I have a new phone. I like it. Going a bit lower-tech, but it's cheaper, and I'm a little touch-screened-out (i.e. I have a numeric keypad again, and am loving it).
