GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly wednesday is here.

Late to the party this AM. Way too hot. Have to bake for the weekend so was up at a ridiculous hour and just finished. It is 84 in the cool part of the house.:(

Hello, Lodgers. Getting ready to take the 4 kids on a field trip today to the NHTI bookstore to purchase the textbook for my class. That should be fun...driving the minivan, going to the bookstore with 4 kids... :o

Do you have two of them in a double wide stroller? That should complete the parenting while shopping experience - especially in a crowded bookstore with narrow isles. :D

What are you baking?

I just tried making kale chips and wound up burning them. Oh well; at least I know how to make red beans and rice without screwing that up...

Trial and error, my friend.
Yes, it sucks to burn food and have to chuck it, but once you do get it, you'll be able to make them forever. :)

I made apple muffins and apple coffee cake. I still need to make brownies and cookies but it is too hot- tonight when it cools off I will do that.

No stroller - I carried the 18 month old for the entire 45 minutes we were there and the other 3 are old enough to walk and to be scolded, if necessary.

Heh - I wouldn't disagree.

Made it up to the bookstore in one piece (don't have tons of minivan driving experience, but this one is quite nice...automatic doors, DVD player, etc), got the kids to behave impeccably for 45 minutes while we waited in line in the tiny azz bookstore, only to find out that the book isn't in stock. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: Took the kids to Borders and let them run around the children's section (it's 98 here today, so I'm a bit wary of taking them outside for too long). We just finished lunch, baby is down for a nap, and after I get the 3 year old down, I'll take the oldest 2 out to the pool for a bit.
