Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

Good morning Lodge.

No plans this weekend. (except for some yard work) Sometimes having no plans is the best plan. ;)

FWIW I have had an issue with gardener snakes in my yard the last week or so. I hate snakes and therefore they have been added to my list of things that should be eliminated from existence. Oatmeal, raisins, spiders and sharks are already on the list. :)

Good morning....it's literally perfect here this AM.

Just embrace your inner-artist.

Don't forget your beret.:p

One more friggin' day of work, then superhappyfuntime for a week+. :)

I was just thinking the same thing and I will second that. I got into the office about 6:15 AM. Before I arrived at the office I went to Caribou and as I drove through a couple neighborhoods in town I noticed several people sitting on their decks reading the paper and drinking coffee.

If you don't ever leave your house, you don't have to worry about tipping bartenders.

Thanks for the laugh. :)

I have had to "eliminate" about 8 snakes on my property. The snakes were very large. Biggest gardener snakes I have ever seen. After I "eliminated" them (thank you 9 iron) I found out why they were so big.

Morning from work. Last day living in Boston (at least for quite awhile).

boo, now who am I going to hang out with when I have overnights up there? :(

Alright Lodge. I need a favor from all you *kers. My friend Kris is in a wedding contest that if she wins, she'll get lots of free stuff. She's currently sitting in 2nd place and the voting ends today. Please go to this website and vote. She's couple number 8.

Bummer :(
Garter snakes are as harmless as they get, and beneficial too.

I'm trying to round up a half dozen bull snakes from my buddies place in East Bethel to let loose in my yard. They'll eat small rabbits, rats and other things that like to lurk around my chicken coop.

1 - get flights to Manchester instead :p
2 - with a little bit of notice, I bet both of us could come down and hang out
3 - Scarlet?

I agree. However, these snakes were hanging out in the kids sandbox and play area. At one point little gII was actually surrounded by snakes as he was sitting in the sandbox. Initially I did remove the snakes to a another area but either the same ones came back or new ones moved in.

Morning Lodge.

Went out until bar close last night with the other engineer that I'm working with here at UND. Had a great time. We ended up playing shuffleboard with 2 gorgeous ladies (who both had rings, and I wasn't going to be that guy). Just a bit tired this morning, but feel fine. I love not getting hangovers. :D

I have to work here today, but I think I'll only be able to work until noon, since everyone clears out about then. Which means I won't be able to get everything done today, so I'll probably stay until Monday or Tuesday to get everything worked out. This afternoon I'll be heading to Thief River for my buddy's bachelor party weekend.

Do you have any contact with a guy named Randal Bohlman up there? He's involved in a lot of the energy related work on campus.

No, I don't recognize the name. Though he might work for this same offshoot of UND that I'm working with, they employ quite a few people and I've only met 5-6 of them.
