Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

I think I'm coming down with a cold. My throat is sore and I'm coughing. Crap. I don't need this now.

I'm off today. Not sure why I'm still not asleep. :) Since I'm awake, I should probably have some coffee.

By the way, I hear that there is a big birthday 10 weeks from today. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

Good morning from the top of Virginia! We're staying with relatives in Wintergreen (not too far from Charlottesville) for a couple of days....nice!

So today he again goes through this routine, and our bus was probably 2 minutes later than normal getting to his (and my) stop. So he jets off the bus, runs down the block... boom! Hit by a taxi as he tried to run across a red.

But apparently catching his connection was more important than being hit by a car, as he got up and ran off as if nothing had happened. I don't think the taxi was going full speed, but it was enough to put him up on the hood and then onto the ground in front of the car.

Careful...the yellow ones don't stop! :D

Did you pick a restaurant for the kiddies? Sorry I couldn't find anything better than Chuckie Cheese. The only other one that comes to mind is like a Brunswick Zone or Space Aliens where they have lots of games to play. Can't think of another themed one like Rainforest.

Morning lodge.

Working in GF for the morning then driving back to Minneapolis this afternoon.
I was supposed to do something with my buddy this weekend, but I found out his grandpa died (he was like 96) so he has to be in Alexandria for the weekend. That kinda sucks. Maybe I'll save money this weekend and sit at home.

I think the Rainforest one will do the trick. We will take the light rail to MOA. Eat at the Rainforest then take the kids on a couple rides and then follow Mrs. g around the mall and watch my wallet get thinner and thinner..........;)

You're in cityslickerville so often these days, you may as well just buy a condo down there!

Been there, done that. I prefer to set a time to meet at the Lego store, let the Mrs. go spend our money while I hang with the kid(s). Seems less painful if I just see the bags at the end rather than watching the actual purchases.;)

Then you don't realize that a little piece of sewn cloth that is actually a stylish shirt costs $85? :p

Pfft. We are staying downtown Mpls. Due to being a frequent customer tonight and tomorrow night are free with an upgrade to boot. :) However, we are thinking of getting season tix to the 2010 World Series champions Minnesota Twins next season.

Tomorrow morning we are heading to cheeseheadville to ride a train. Then we are headed to MOA. If I am lucky one of the little g's will run out of gas and cut our time at MOA a little short. ;) Actually I don't mind if Mrs. g goes on a spree. A happy Mrs. g is a happy Mr. g.
