I love when other people tell me what my availability for projects in a week is. Sure I have time to post on the internet, but it doesn't mean I am not busy! :mad: :D

How do I know I'm getting old? My son turns 17 today. :eek:

The good part is tonight we're going to take advantage of the $100 Ruth's Chris Steakhouse gift certificate we picked for ~$50 at a school fundraiser. :)

Mine turns 13 on Friday. A teenager in the house! :eek:

Had a kid soccer game last night where the the refs were not clearly out to get us. First time this season. In fact, the ref might have been a little biased in our favor. Gave the opponent a PK for some pretty minor contact in the box, but otherwise I saw nothing to complain about (although the opponents did). They were pretty physical and this ref apparently didn't like that style so they got whistled a lot - two yellows as well. My kid made a great run to the far post and his teammate sent a perfect cross with a wide open net and Jr. muffed it. :o His best chance at a goal this season.:(

Morning, Lodge. Got my first Anatomy & Physiology exam back.108 out of 100. Guess those hours and flash-cards helped. :o Planning to keep the same strategy for the rest of the summer. Got an A- in Microbiology last month. :)

Spoke with my housemate today. She said that she's been living in her apt for 6 years and only had a lease for 1 year! She said 1month notice should be fine. Good thing since I already sent boxes and furniture up with tcbg yesterday!

Good mornin' Loj. Still hotter than bejeezus at home. Cooled down from 88 to a comfortable 86 upstairs last night for sleeping. Awesome! I sure hope tonight is as refreshing.

when I visited GLM last week in Albany, I told him not to forget us little people...we'll see how long that lasts. Guarantee come FF time next year, he'll see right through our groups. :(

Question for the weather geeks. We will be on Kiawah Island at the end of July & since I excel in worrying I've been paranoid about a hurricane since we set up the trip. My assumption is if we don't see a tropical depression forming 7-10 days out from our time on the island we should be confident that we won't see a hurricane. Safe assumptions?

Good morning from Denver, where we're undergoing a one day diversion from summer weather, as it will be in the low 60s with showers on and off all day. Denver doesn't get much of this kind of weather in mid-summer. :)
