I thought about making a NY border run during the last year of grad school but I never did it.... Narragansett is close in taste to the Yeungling lager.

My parents live in PA, so I could arrange for more (or more often), but I don't drink a lot of beer, so it's not really a big deal. This case I've had since mid-May.

Bought some sweet corn on the way home. Ate a couple and cooked up the rest, cut off the corn, put it in freezer bags with salt and butter and froze it. So then I can actually have good corn in the winter.

Now I'm relaxing and having a 7&7.

I just watched the Reds' pitcher take one in the ding-ding because his glove got knocked off his hand the first time he tried to cover first. The runner that was on first before the ball was hit wound up scoring.

And no, I'm not going to watch the Lebron fiasco.

Roommate and her friend both had something good on tonight when they left. I believe they are called string bikinis. Can't wait for them to get home.

I've been doing yoga, you know. :p
But actually, I love the movie Twister. I have no idea why, but it's one of those movies that when it's on, I have to watch it. I foresee a small issue with cohabitating with someone who does not like Bill Paxton. :o

Hey kids. Been a crazy busy few days. And I've been out every night after work. I decided to take tomorrow off. It's going to be nice out tomorrow. Looking forward to not doing anything. I think I'll get my car inspected. And sit by the pool.

There's some supposed big announcement at work next week in one of the business units I support. I'm actually feeling a little weirded out by it, like I wonder if there is the slightest chance that I might lose my job. God, I hope not. :o I read that article that 'ewe linked to and I don't feel that good.

He can always go in the other room and read. Or just root for Paxton to die (he's a UNH fan, he's used to disappointments ;) ).

(And he likes Paxton in certain roles (True Lies, Aliens), just not in "dramatic leads")

my improv comedy classes (supposed to start on saturday) got combined with the monday clasess... monday is a lifting day. Guess I have to put it off until the fall :( :( :(

I was looking forward to it... still have kickball starting on the 25th.
