Holy hell, this is a crazy tennis match. Wish I wasn't at work so I could watch.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 114: Who gives a...

Just found out I'm taking tomorrow off. My GC called me and said tomorrow's basically the wrap up day for the main house construction. I've got a plumber coming to replace my outside spigots, an electrician to hang all the new outside light fixtures and a finishing carpenter to do some stuff indoors that the GC threw in thanks to the three referrals he got while working on my house. The referrals worked out pretty nice for both of us. One from me, a coworker, and two from the sign that's been in my front yard for the past six weeks. Apparently people have been watching the progress and results of my house, were pleased, and called the GC for similar work. Now he and his crews are booked out for the rest of the summer :)

ETA: the only thing left is the new 16 x 18 deck they hope to start the week after next. We'd have kept going on my house, but had to revamp the entire design once we found out that my drain field for the septic was expanded to four lines running right behind the house in 1982. Good thing the city knew that or we could have had a mess

Morning, kiddos! Temping for the next few days (had to be in at 8am this morning, but am doing 5-9 tomorrow, 1-6 on Friday, and 1-4:30 on Saturday). Fairly quiet job as a receptionist which is nice, so I can't really complain too much (and the money is always appreciated).

Have to give my presentation on STDs tonight and it's the last class at Simmons! We're having a microbiology party (we're only eating foods produced by microbes: bread, yogurt, vinegar, cheese, etc.) and watching Food Inc. I get to enjoy a nice 4 day respite before starting at BC on Monday morning at 8am.

Bob - sorry to hear that you're still stuck in the sling. :( bummer.
No beer or wine? What kind of party is that?!? ;) :p
