Ugh

National spelling bee is on. I was brought up learning word roots and some of these words are way out there!
One of my friends is a teacher and one of her students is there. I guess the kid went out in the semifinal round.

imagine having to do the closed captioning for that :p

"you expect me to do what? F--- this, I quit!"

my legs don't like me right now... they're tired... I'm tired... and if I weren't trying to lose weight I'd be working through some beer right now.

Drink light beer. It makes you feel better about drinking beer, except for the next day.

Why would you drink p*ss water?

Like I said, it makes you feel better about drinking beer. Also, I ran out of the good beer and I am finishing off the "generic" beer that I have. I plan on restocking tomorrow.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

No it doesn't. :p

It could be worse. You could be drinking Lake Michigan water and it tastes like Windex. Thank you SC Johnson. Some family corporation. That is why I drink beer in the first place.

wait, why would you have generic beer? Either you need better friends, a better husband, or better standards :p

I usually have Miller Lite on hand as my generic beer. When I stock up, I usually get New Glarus, or some other specialty beer along with more Miller Lite. So...do I have to go over the reason why I am screwed up and do I have to explain it to you? To sum it up: I am blonde, went to St. Cloud State and a fan of SCSU, and from Wisconsin. Also, I married a guy from Benton County, MN.

MNS: Sad to say Busch Light has a better flavor, unless you disagree.

... and the winning word of the spelling bee is stromuhr.

Anamika Veeramani wins (from cleveland - so I guess they have that going for them even if their beloved lebron is leaving). :p

Busch Light tastes better than Miller Lite or Bud Light, but that's like saying that vinegar tastes better than hydrochloric or sulfuric acid. :p

Twitch coulda been a contender!

Evening, Lodge. I decided to be nice and make cupcakes to bring to work tomorrow, even though it's my birthday, hah.

I may also be nicer and pack a cooler of my homebrew.

Busch Light has a flavor?!?

Balsamic vinegar actually tastes pretty good and is mild enough to use straight instead of having to cut it with oil like you do with red wine vinegar.

Good night all!

Agreed on both. Balsamic vinegar is delicious.
