Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

I woke up thinking it was the weekend. There is nothing worse that doing that on the morning of a long day at work:(

Better than my wakeup this morning. I had slept in only to find that the dog had pooped in my bed. :( :( Oh well, I needed a shower anyways.

No Grays here, but the problem is with thinning. Started noticing it when I in my early 20's, but seems to be in a holding pattern, hasn't gotten much worse since I cut off my long hair.

Hoven, that cupcake challenge sounds like something out of Cool Hand Luke.

Afternoon all! Busy morning here in the college hockey wasteland. I was awoken by ABF dropping off the trailer. We must have been their first drop of the day as they were here at 8:30. Spent the rest of the morning trying to finish packing. No matter how much I pack, there always seems to be more stuff. :(

My first gray hair? Sometime around 21, I think. I have a significant amount now, all conveniently clustered around my part line.

Sorry, but if our dogs did that they'd no longer be sleeping the BR.

Ugh - what is it with people!? My landlord was using the weed cutter at 8:15am this morning all around my house! I am totally appreciative of his efforts, but 8:15?! C'mon. Of course, when he was done, I rolled over and went back to sleep. :o

I did go running this afternoon, I think I've plateaued, which is just in time for the planned increase this weekend. :)

Overpacking my suitcase at the moment and doing laundry while I wait for tcbg to arrive with the car for a long drive home this weekend.

I'm guessing my neighbors don't exactly appreciate my starting of my truck, and its large diesel engine, 2 feet from their open bedroom windows every morning at 6:30. But you know what, I have to get to work, and that's the parking stall they gave me, so, not much I can do.

I guess I should clarify, it wasn't a bad thing that I was woken up by the truck. I really needed it to get here before Rob left at noontime today. :)

Have fun in PA this weekend! Are you subjecting tCBG to meeting the whole family or just the peeps he already knows?

Only three new people this time: my sister's fiancé, my maternal grandmother, and my mom's oldest sister. He's already met my parents, brother, sister, and paternal grandmother. Those are really the only people my family sees regularly. My mom's side is 6 kids, plus spouses with 15 grandkids and 3 grandkids, but we don't see most of them except at weddings/funerals, and the rare Christmas or Easter. Should tCBG come with me to my cousin's wedding in October (I believe he said he was planning on it since UNH is in Miami), then he'll meet everyone on that side (and then some, my cousin's guest list is over 250 people, I believe).

So, the coworker that I work with the most is having a kid soon, sometime in July. I was just informed today that I will probably have to support his projects at customer sites while he's unable to travel, which will probably be about 3 months. Most of the times I've been told I might be traveling, the project ends up going nowhere, so I don't know about this yet. The places mentioned as potential places that I may have to go are Wyoming, New York, Louisiana, and the UK. Could be interesting, we'll see if any of these potential trips actually comes through.

Not only will he be completing that SG/MNS air trifecta, but he'll only be 3.5 hours from Houghton!
Yay :)
