You northerners sent your crappy weather this way. 80 degrees with 80 percent humidity at 9 a.m. this morning - looking at a high of 95.

God bless air conditioning.

You guys only get a few days of that. We usually have weeks of it. :p

Got the tentative offer...looks like Bismarck, but could still change...

You spelled "Bumf*" wrong.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #112: Son of "Filling in for the night shift"

The weather guessers missed the high temps big time today. They called for temps in the mid 80s. Uh, no. Made it into the upper 90s. Thankfully there was some wind on the golf course to cool things a bit.

I still can't find a putting stroke this spring. I had four, three putt greens which prohibited me from scoring much better than I hit the ball today. Shot an an eighty-five. I hit plenty of greens in regulation, but quite frankly, I putted atrociously. All four of my three putt greens came when I hit the green in regulation. I might easily have shot eighty-two or eighty-one had I putted reasonably well, but I haven't been able to find my stroke yet. Looking forward to getting back out on the links on Monday with Mrs. Shot.

The weekend is in sight LODGEONIANS so hang in there and have a good time whatever your plans may be. :)
You're never going to break 80 if you keep hitting the windmill.

My plan for this weekend is to work, try not to mess with the arm too much, and reclaim my car from the mechanic. My first car is now destined for the junkyard after I get the plates and radio out of it... *sigh*

Good morning, Lodge!

Excellent recap, les. I'll add that the wound disheised on Sunday morning; yesterday, the doctor put a splint on it and told me to keep it dry until next Tuesday.

Good Morning Lodge

Great recap Les

And for our AM excitement since I last posted we saw a very neurologically impaired fox by our shed, called animal control who gave a rapid (they are 10 min away max and got here in an hour) response and just deceased the fox in the neighbors yard. The local ravens harried it into stumbling next door. Poor thing was pretty far gone. Sad.:(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #112: Son of "Filling in for the night shift"

Good morning, it is a chamber of commerce weather day is MSP today. I'm plan on putting the bike rack on the grocery-getter so the lass & I plan to bike around the Minneapolis lakes today. :) The lass is officially done with 8th grade, next stop for her is CDH.

The lad (HS Jr.) & some buds are planning to spend the night at the cabin tonight and can't understand why I will be there too and just won't let him go up alone. Told him my dad could fill him in. :D

Fargo does about 70 more ops per day...so it's not much busier.

I'd probably try to transfer to another place first before stepping to MSP...but we'll see what happens. That's a few years away anyway...

Congrats! Those few years in Bismark should only seem like a couple decades. :)

Thank you for doing your part of the economy. :)

Didja see the video of the guy getting attacked by the rabid fox? Stay away from wild animals that are acting strangely.

Morning Lodge.

Survived Rochester and the Middle School Band Concert. Gonna try and wrap up some things here and at home before getting put out of commission for a while on Tuesday.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #112: Son of "Filling in for the night shift"

You need to watch out for those rabid chickens!

How are they holding up to the construction disruption?

They're way away from the house for a lot of reasons, as I'm sure you can imagine. I only let them loose 45 minutes before sunset so they stay out of the front yard (mostly). Despite my complaints about the whole project the one who's suffering the most is the cat :D
She's no where to be found until about an hour after she hears the last hammer strike

My favorite kind of cat, those who disappear. ;)
We usually dog sit for my sister-in-law when they travel, this weekend we got the cat too. Luckily the cat just wants to sit in the windows on our sun porch and pretend it's either chasing birds or making it with the neighborhood cats. :)
