Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #111: Filling in for the night shift

Antelope is pretty good. For a game animal I'll put it above Deer and Moose, but IMO nothing's as delicious as an Elk steak. :)

There are any number of restaurants in Colorado in which I've had pecan encrusted elk with a lingonberry demi-glace. I enjoy elk and the high end restaurants in ski resort towns in the state often have elk entrees on their menus. The Buckhorn Exchange and The Fort here in metro-Denver have it, too.

All this talk of game steak makes me want one. :) Even goat doesn't sound that bad, probably pretty close to mutton.

Afternoon, Lodge. Today's been a good day, despite my being something of a klutz. :o

Hey BPH, About your rep...Mrs. Shot indeed chose well regarding her dinner last night. We thought both entrees were delicious. :)

Meetings all morning and class this afternoon leaves me no time to post. Grrrrrr.
I liked it better when I had no class. :D

crap... time to find a new eye doctor... this one was so convenient since it was between home and work (two blocks from the White House) but the building is undergoing renovations so he's moved his operations temporarily to his other office outside the Beltway.

...what the hell were you doing writing in yearbooks in 7th grade?

Our 7th (and the 8th) grade class had yearbooks. But our class pushed the boundaries (and sometimes crossed the line) with some remarks and comments in the yearbooks, so they got cancelled for 3-4 years. :o :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #111: Filling in for the night shift

when i was in 7th grade i wrote that in yearbooks.

I was in college.

Back from track a bit ago but not thawed out yet. Damp cold sux. I got to be meet recorder. My hands were numb!! I am very proud of Lil. Last 2 times he has placed 3rd in the 1/2 mile partly because he runs really smart and partly because he runs with a lot of grit. I didn't realize just how much I missed being involved in track. Mr thinks I am crazy.
