Grabbed my lunch to eat while perusing USCHO. You know what's a yummy snack? Srawberries dipped in sour cream and then in brown sugar. Tasty. Though probably not very healthy I would imagine, which contradicts the eating fruit cuz it's good for you thing. Oh well.

healthier than butterfinger bars dipped in sour cream and rolled in brown sugar!! :D

Cheyenne, Wyoming is under a winter storm warning. 5 to 9 inches of snow expected. IN THE MIDDLE OF MAY.

I made the right decision to move to AK :D

And the next person to hang up the phone and leave the intercom on, thus broadcasting a dial tone/busy signal all over the facility, is getting hammerpunched.

Later today my wife and I will light a commemorative candle, open a bottle of wine, pour a measure into our glasses, clink them in a congratulatory toast, exchange presents and then head to dinner at a restaurant about which we've heard good reviews but at which we haven't dined, as we celebrate our wedding anniversary. :)

Congrats on the anniversary!

Good Afternoon, Lodge! Spent most of the work day decorating my desk. My mother-in-law gave me a candy jar filled with fun size Snickers bars as a congrats gift. Along with bringing that to work, I also brought a bunch of knick-knacks to add to my desk. I finally got on to the time clock. The IT guy is worthless, but he is the president's kid.

Posting from my blackberry before I lose service. Off montauk point right now and heading south then over to the azores before going through gibraltar and in to Spain. Should be there next Friday morning, although I may or may not find an internet cafe there, the unconnected from the world thing is pretty nice. Have a good couple weeks or longer lodge, ill check in again at some point, and promise to have a Guinness for each of you straight from the factory in Dublin around June 22.
Have one for me too!

This sounds tasty...

Evening, Lodge. Awfully wet day in 231-land. Think later tonight, I'll put The Wall by Pink Floyd on and space out...

Operation Hot Roommates update:

I went to go see the second apartment/room tonight. The girl renting out the room is gorgeous, too bad she's not living there. :p
Her other roommates aren't living there either, so there will be 3 new people over the summer, and the other 2 are 2 girls that graduated from the U last year and are back to work for the summer, or something like that. In short, the jury is still out as far as roommate hotness goes.
The second apartment is a bit nicer than the first, carpet instead of tile everywhere, 3 bedrooms instead of 2, just plain bigger, it has a big screen TV. So basically I'll be going with the second one, that I looked at tonight. We'll just have to wait and see how the roommates turn out.

Yo, the Midget may drive us to Lee's on Fri. Saves us cabfare one way, at least, if this happens.

Sweet. I have to see about farming still, I should be able to find out tomorrow, I'll give my dad a call. I don't think I'll have to, but I can never predict what he's thinking.

If they're not hot, they best have hot friends. I don't know about this learning experience idea....:p
