Q1 financials coming back this week. My company apparently blew all of the predictions out of the water, so the stock has gone up about $5/share in the last couple days, and we got word that after one quarter we are on track to get the maximum bonus, with all indications that it is only going to get better. :D :D :D

Mornin', Lodge!

What started out as a kind of ****ty week has turned out okay. Short day at the office today; I'm going to the Twins game this afternoon! Phone interview for a job I think I can really do well at tomorrow. Final exam Saturday afternoon where all I should need is about a 70% to get an A in the class. Life is mostly okay at the moment. :)

Good morning tLodge! Happy Thursday!

On tap for today, more sorting through paperwork. I have one box filled with paper for the recycling plant, plus half of a 13gal trash bag from the shredder. I am still amazed at how much paper we collect and a lot of our bills are electronic.

Diva - have fun at school.. that's one class I would not want to teach. Ever.

Yes, I anticipate someone will make a "joint" joke.
I need to go back sometime when I'm not working so I can have a beer or three with my Coney.

So what you're saying is 1) I can come and bs with you at the career fair in the fall, and 2) you can hook me up with an internship in the spring? Awesome. :p

eh....doubtful. I can't talk to you, I can only talk to engineers at the career fair. I'd have no idea what we'd be looking for in a business intern. I'd probably be able to hook you up with one of those fancy recommendations that got Ducati an intern offer this spring, though.

The Internet was down today at work. Someone at Verizon cut the cable. :eek: It was hard to waste time.

Also, in a supposedly unrelated event, the water in the bathroom was cut off. It was hard to ... ;) Actually I could just go to another bathroom.

Hi Lodge. I'm home. Took the day off today. I usually have this day as a travel day home from the conference, and even though I was literally only 6 miles from my place, I still took it. I was exhausted. My co-worker and I met for breakfast at 8am, then I drove her home (kind of to justify my having my car at the hotel since Saturday). Got home, unpacked, then climbed into bed and slept for about 2 1/2 hours. If I didn't have stuff to do today I might still be asleep!

I called my mother and invited myself over for dinner. I feel like I haven't had a regular normal meal in about a month. No lemondrop tonight.

I did go to the dry cleaners and dropped off the three suits I had worn this week. And then I got a manicure! Nails need to look nice for tomorrow night's event and bidding war with mookie. Speaking of which - mookie, check your email.
