Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #110: Offseason Is Here, So Deal With It.

Went to Silvertone tonight (food was pretty good). Not sure about Al Capone's. I am thinking of Al's sub shop (not sure if it's the same). The bread there was also great..

not the same.

al's on state street is "al from everett" on weei. al used to work at the italian sub place on the beginning of broad street and stole the bread recipe ;)

al capone's is at the end of broad st. home of the 2ft long subs.

and yes pantless one, the no name pizza at haymarket is pretty good. damn cheap too. good stuff.

Ah - thanks. I was thinking of Al's on State.

The no name pizza place has been there forever. When my parents were living in Boston in the 70s as struggling students (mom is an NU grad for her masters and dad worked at Dana Farber), they ate at the pizza place a lot when they bought veggies at Haymarket. They make a point of eating there when they come up to visit me.

Don't judge me, but I'm having a few cocktails tonight. It seems to help my pro team.

I had green death nyquil today.

And torching chez rube wouldn't make a difference. It'd still look the same after it burned. :p

No judgment here. Enjoyed a few myself earlier this evening. Worn off now and I'm contemplating sleep.

I'm telling you right now, I took NyQuil five years ago. I just came out of the coma tonight before the fucking show!

I just consume things that knock down the symptoms (which nyquil does). I don't need the coma. :p

Codeine is wondrous. It even knocked me on my arse, and I usually have a high tolerance for any meds.
