less posting, more drinking. THEN you can post more.;) :D

Working on it.

In other news, I just found out a family friend's son is going to be a dad any second now... (haven't seen him since last May, just found him on Facebook and found out there.) Apparently, Baby Momma is a real winner.

I don't really know too many, but the word "parole" was used when talking about her. She's from a particularly white trash town near where I'm from, too.

that's helpful.

real winner can mean a lot of things... "prison" is always nice. (make me think of married with children and al found out that the nerds guy was once in prison and asked him if marcy knew.... but of course y'all remember that  )

Woo hoo!!!

Mmm...Honey Weiss and Sunset Wheat, not a big fan of the Original and I don't think I've had Summer Shandy. (Yes, we really do have beers from Wisconsin at the restaurant down here)

Summer Shandy is a great mixture of lemonade and beer only available seasonally. When are you due? I should send you some.

Yay Summer Shandy!

I just saw it in the beer aisle at the gas station today! Now available!

When I was in college in 92-93, IIRC the Kalkaska school district had to close a month early because they ran out of money.

I think you're right. I remember hearing something like that...

It cracks me up that TC is becoming such a high end resort area, because (except for parts of Leelanau County) it is SURROUNDED by these little hick, one-toothed, "you got a puuurrrdy mouth", careful-or-you'll-be dating-your-cousin towns. Cracks me up.

Well, LA has Beverly/Hollywood Hills, and then everything else...

Where there is water and/or nice property, the wealthy will follow.

Vodka and club soda?

Make that a vodka tonic, and you then have a winner. :D

Sprechers

Good root beer, too!

Hi, Lodge. It's been a long week. I'm having my lamearse attempt at a big kid drink--vodka and club soda.

Is there garnish? Cause if you're not taking the time to garnish, you're not in the big leagues!

Mancelona? ;)
Close. Kalkaska.

I lived in East Jordan when I was 5 and 6. Then we moved out of Michigan for good. Recently I've said to my parents, "Boy, I'd like to go back and see East Jordan, just to see if it looks like I remember." They both were like, "Why???" :o

With garnish!!1!
