Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

I posted that in the bracketology thread this morning. If half the league gets in and someone "steals" an at-large berth this place will melt down on selection Sunday when the field is announced.

BU's only chance is getting the auto bid (hahahaha. that was funny), so they'll be no comm ave meltdown.:p

Understatement of the year.

If the CHA sends two teams then obviously the CHA is the bestest conference in the history of D1 hockey as half of its teams will be in the post season. :D

Only if they can follow it up next year as well... :p

Morning Lodge.

I'm baffled by SG's post. How is a crappy Gopher team going to end the UND season in GF?

One of the dads on my kid's peewee team put a montage of the season together. It's on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9d-kvGpl8o

My kid is on drums in one shot, in hcokey jock in another wearing 15 in several others. My wife is on the far right of the dance line. :o

Except for the back-to-back years when the WCHA sent 6 of its 10 teams to the tourney...

Not without getting a huge scare. It's nothing else if it's not completely terrifying for a while.

Congrats!
Personally, I would have much rather seen a good five goal drumming by Adrian, but it was a hell of a game, none the less.

What are the odds BSU loses the CHA tourney and therefore allows two CHA teams in the field of 16?

A few hockey rooms will be on suicide watch......................
:D

And it will be GLORIOUS!!!!!!!! Especially if its Alabama-Huntsville that snags the Autobid, and bumps out a CCHA squad. :D

You could just loop the Benny Hill theme for about 3 days in here. :D

They wouldn't. Even a sweep by mighty Minnesota would leave UND 9th in the PWR and safely above the cut line. They might fall to 11 or 12 as other teams advance in their conference tournaments, but it would take an epic string of upsets for UND not to make the NCAAs.

It's 56 and sunny outside and I'm lying here with a heating pad! :( Pulled something in my lower back on Friday and I can't straighten up today. Should make for a lot of fun at the rink tonight.

Can ice cream go bad?
Yes. If unopened, it can take up to 6 months. If opened, about a month on the top layer, and then longer for portions not exposed. My parents' deep freezer had a guide.

A little off to the side of your lower back, between your lower back ribs and pelvis? Probably your Quadratus Lumborum. Might wanna try soaking with some Epsom salts tonight in a bath.

No idea, it's never in my freezer long enough to find out...

Same here. If you're going to let it just sit, you might as well not bother with buying Ice Cream.
