C'est Bonne Pole!

I am here. I am maxed out and have some other points that make me give out mega rep.

Nighty night nocturnal ones.;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

So I'm thinking of getting boots and looking at Lucchese. Any one have experience they'd like sharing with?

Where's the pole?

My uncle Ray died about 40 minutes ago. 89yo. My aunt was crying, mookie felt sad, but Ray had been in rough shape for the past 6 weeks. Good that the suffering is done. Thye have no kids. I'm sure that was the first question that god heard and for his sake he better have had an answer that Ray liked. ;)

My son was elected captain of his high school Nordic Ski team for next year. :)

Cowboy boots? I thought Lucchese made only cowboy boots.....
I have Tony Llama cowboy boots, and they are great, very comfortable. From what I know Llamas, Lucchese and Justin are the best for cowboy boots, with Justin being more of a practical/work type and the other two being fancy.

If you're not talking about cowboy boots, then go with Red Wing, and only Red Wing. They're the best boots out there.

double post...

Talked to my realtor, we're putting in an offer on one of the houses tomorrow. It has been on the market for about 4 months, and financing has already fallen through for one buyer so we're thinking that the bank is going to really want to dump this thing. Wish me luck! :D

Condolences, mookie.

Nice poll.

And I found what happened to my car: the timing belt broke. Luckily, the part will only run $30-35 and I have a friend who won't charge me an arm and a leg to repair it.

Lucky it's a non-interference engine (if the valves are out of position because the timing belt broke, the pistons won't hit them and break stuff), or you'd be out mucho bucks.

Oh, come on! Punching holes in your pistons is fun!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Never done that, but I did get to experience a Tecumseh throwing a rod from about 5 feet away. Dam near shat myself - I'm lucky it didn't hit me
There is a reason that we use timing CHAINS on our engines....we definitely have pistons trailing the valves, if the cam got off the correct position, we would be putting valves through the tops of pistons and effing up valve trains.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

tonight at hockey, some chick that Quiz used to play hockey with and a big dude collided and she went into the boards. After she vomited on the ice, she lost consciousness for a brief period of time. She got trucked out on a backboard...

And no, it wasn't me who hit her.
