I wish I lived close to the light rail, it would be quite handy for getting to the bar and back. But up here in the northern suburbs we're out of luck.

Wouldn't the 10 work reasonably well for you?

I think he means http://transit.metc.state.mn.us/Schedules/WebSchedules.aspx?route=10.

There's nothing between 1am and 5am though, not in the northern suburbs.

a bus? That just seems like a bad idea when I'm hammered. What are the odds I'd find the right bus? I'd probably end up in a Walgreens parking lot in Chaska. I'd at least want to take it sober a couple times first.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

Nope - in fact, the last bus north of 51st St. leaves downtown at 11:30 on weeknights, 10:40 on Saturdays.

It's an 8:30 start time on a weeknight, no commercial timeouts, shootout instead of continuing sudden death OT. Seems like it would work out fine.

I still think I'd somehow screw it up if I tried to take the bus for the first time when I am drunk. :p

G'day Loj! The Mrs is home, surgery went well, one less organ to worry about. She is "comfortable", says she just feels like someone stabbed her a few times with a pen, could be worse. She wanted me to thank you all for the well wishes. Hoping the RPI/Colgate game on TV won't require us BOTH to be medicated. Lortabs FTW!
Great news! :)

Just got home from class. Got 100 on my Genetics exam - the first time I've ever gotten a good grade on a science exam. The class average was 63, so she awarded everyone in the class 10pts, which pushed my 90 to 100. :) Guess all that studying, doing the problems, reading, etc. pays off...should have done that the first time around. :o

(and yes, I cried a little)
Good job, 'ewe!

It's 5 o'clock somewhere.
(currently, Nova Scotia)
Pour me something tall and strong
Make it a hurricane before I go insane....

Evening, Lodge. It's been a really good day; now to cap it off with hockey and another 7&7... :)

In other bus-related news, today some guy didn't realize he was on the express bus and yelled at the driver "Hey man, why'd you blow past the liquor store?!?". This was around 10am.

Now that guy could navigate the city bus system while drunk!

And now a power surge seems to have taken out the dish receiver

anyone in the twin cities want to go to a bar? b-dubs possibly, to watch the game, since I won't be able to here

edit: ooooooh, it is showing life, maybe there is still hope yet

You can make the drive here. :p

No bar for me tonight. Saving it for next weekend. ;)

**** hockey with all 58 pucks that Genoe stopped tonight after Admiral AcPro has passed them around her sorority and covered them all in gonorrhea.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

Agreed. We dump 49 shots against WMU and goat****ed ourselves into a 2-2 shootout.

Hockey is still good. Who cares about Tech when the US just played their way to the gold medal game today!!!
