Checking in from sick bay [nasty chest congestion] where there's bad news and good news. The bad news is I'm currently listed as questionable for Friday's game between Denver and Tech.

The good news is there's no change in my status for being able to give Speedo Boy unmerciful crap all week about how his Big Midget State team is gonna get swept by Nigeria this weekend.

If you get the image of that speedo in your brain it ought to scare that congestion right out of your chest!

The NBA All-Star game was yesterday? You'd think with the strong woodmutt representation there would be more local coverage of this event.

Wait, we still have a team? I thought we traded it to Boston...

Apparently you were out of the country during my posts from September when I told everyone about my opportunity for another year with the Nielsen people only to have Vista ruin it for me (I agreed to have them monitor my internet and keep the TV part of it only to find out after two visits that it couldn't be done due to my having Vista - no computer monitoring, no more TV tracking). Haven't been a Nielsen family since then.

Next time throw in something about hot Asian women...it's guaranteed to make mookie pay attention.

I assume that you mean figure skating. I don't think that I have watched it since the Olympics have been on multiple channels, and I have had a choice, but it seems to me that the judging has always been warped.

Well, it probably wasa before but it didn't seem quite as blatant. The stupid new scoring rewards all sorts of ugly, non-impressive sKating. It seems way less artistic and just overall blah. See below.

It was the Pairs Short Program. Tonight is the Long Program and medals. I always thought they had a day between the two but my TV listings show otherwise. Anyway, a Canadian couple got ridiculously high scores last night for a very bad performance.

So, my best friend all of a sudden just went uber ***** on me, told me I'm extremely ungrateful (because I don't drive, I hitched a ride with her from Calumet to campus & back a lot last semester), and so on and so forth. In reality, I gave her more than $150 in gas money last semester (for a drive which she had to go .5 miles out of her way each day to pick me up), and I gave her my biology book & lab manual this semester which I could have sold for $90+. Looks like I don't have a best friend anymore.

Went to the Warrior Outlet for Lil's Lax stuff in Alston. All their cleats were 25 $. Even better the Globe had a coupon for 25% off. Lil is in a 7.5 cleat!! New skates again this summer. Sigh.

Anyone in the NE area- Great place - Lax stuff was reasonably priced (well, it is all ridiculous but...) kids cleats were 20. ladies 20 and mens 25$. Not bad.
