CC to Dave - Just saw your post in the HS hockey thread. Let me see what I can find & I will let you know. Where in St. Paul is your house? Are you in the Highland / Mac-Groveland area (Highland Central Hockey)? Check your rep for my email address. :)

Hey, thanks! Check your email. :)

Made roast beef for dinner with creamy polenta and broccoli. :) Pix and recipes to follow in the Cooks thread. It was good. :)

Back to Genetics homework - endless homework assignment

A weekend at Wakota.....oh the joy. :D
I remember that arena had an amazing view of the Mississippi when you went to the edge of the parking lot. I also remember never going near the edge of the parking lot because of the stench of everything around that place.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

I had taken out pork chops to make for dinner. Then, I wound up not leaving work till about 5:45. Walked directly to the Walgreens across the street from my place to drop off the prescription I got at my doctor's appointment on Monday morning. Told them I would be back in an hour, would that be OK, the pharmacist said sure, no problem. Walked to my building, got in my car, drove to my parents' house. They're in Florida. I told them I would stop by at some point and pick up their mail and make sure everything was OK. It was. Drove from there back to the Walgreens to pick up my prescription as it was more than an hour. Naturally, it was not there. They had to call another store. It was en route and hadn't arrived. *sigh* So now I have to go back AGAIN. Tomorrow. I'm going to have to go before work as we're getting a lot of snow tomorrow and I don't feel like trekking over there in a snowstorm. By the time I got home, it was 7:30. It was too late to cook something. So I made english muffin pizzas.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

is it numbers or words?

I miss learning new interesting stuff... not that I'd want to be in school forever.

Mono-, di-, and tri-hybrid crosses and pedigrees. I can't complain though; I felt the most accomplished today that I've felt in several years. (Aced a stats quiz, understood material in my psych class)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

At least he's in the airport. What if he were actually somewhere in Detroit?
He's supposed to be flying to Fort Wayne, then back (2 hours late). Then to Roanoke tomorrow and back (that he doesn't know if it will happen). He's in Detroit until Friday, even though he was supposed to do MSP to Nashville last night, Nashville to Detroit today, then deadhead back to MSP. He's not happy.

he works for 9E. That would make me want to stab myself in the eye with a fork. Oh wait, I did work there...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Nothing much. After not posting about it for several weeks and thinking it had gone away, she and a couple other posters started talking **** in that stupid drawing thing. I wasn't even responding until very late, yet people assumed I was responding, it got ugly. So now this bull**** has been brought up again.
Think for a moment. Was it ST talking **** or was it people like me, the rest of the techies, and even people in this thread screwing around posing as other people. The whole thing started off from people posting things that implied ST was a whore. ST never said a word making fun of you, it was everyone else joking back and forth along with many other topics such as flashy/diva, ctf, tech hockey, etc. I don't know why anyone would take an anonymous internet whiteboard seriously... I mean, come on... don't be a ra-tard.

My friend has been sitting in the Detroit airport for 7 hours....that has to suck...
Hey, it is actually a pretty nice airport, assuming it is the McNamara terminal.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Blueberry pancakes and bacon for dinner. :)
I'm jealous. I had an olive burger topped with salsa and Swiss, with some corn on the side.

Evening, Lodge. I was going through my bedroom tonight and realized I have more clothes than I know what to do with, and most of them are too big for me now.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Oh and flockdraw resets when no users are online.

God man... you MTU people are weird... at least the MIT and CalTech people come up with some interesting **** when they're bored. Seeing as you guys are snowbound for so long I'm shocked you guys don't come up with something stunningly interesting. You know, fully functional dragon, world's largest light-brite board... something.
