Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

I needed to get the Kohl Center off my list and had an opportunity. Thankfully, CHA put up with me. :)
He must have been so frustrated that you let him talk your ear off and you couldn't even talk back to him ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

They're already talking about late start/not coming in at all on Wednesday. Weenies...

Yeah, I just heard 1-3 tomorrow and another 3-7 tomorrow night and Wednesday morning. We're getting some snow, but I'm not sure it's going to be as bad as they were yammering about yesterday.

Here's part of the e-mail:

Per Mr. Senior Partner, if there is extreme weather Wednesday morning, we will open the office at 11 a.m.

Should the weather continue and roads become unbearable, a choice will be made to close the office. At this time, you will receive a telephone call as to whether the office will close for the day.

I should come in at my normal time just to make a point. If no one is here, I can work on school work.

If Nick was a poster I'd probably die laughing.

I tell you what he is - the poster child for awkward music nerd. So really, a perfect fit to direct tSBFitW.

Best road trip ever (aside from it being Kansas): meeting Nick's parents, aunts and uncles, bouncing on his parents' trampoline, getting baby pictures of Nick, and then presenting all of this to the entire pep band on the first day of rehearsal. :D

...Please tell me this was a side adventure on another trip...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Well, there's round one of snow removal. By the time I finished the back yard trails and got the chickens squared away, the driveway had a fresh enough coat to nearly obscure my previous tracks. If I don't get out again tonight, I'm taking tomorrow off.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Took little gII to the ER last night. High temp. Very high temp. Tonsillitis. :(
Poor guy. :(

So I just get home from work, and now I have to go shovel my brother's driveway since he won't be home from work until later. His roommate is *ing worthless.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

I guess I better keep Ditties and Kitties for DC going...

I still have enough beer but I'm running out of stuff to mess around with. I'm going to see if i can find that extra music archive and change up my ring tones (yeah, its just that exciting).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Hope he gets better soon! :(

Good morning, Lodge. Think I should bake something today, but can't decide between cake or muffins...
Cake. You never know then the guy handing out muffins will try switching them out with Death instead. ;)

sweetie, you know I don't have it in me to cheer for BC! :D

Quiz is trying to convince me to wear a BU jersey...I don't know if I can go THAT far...
Bullocks, She says Jump and you say How High Dear?? :p

I didn't text much that night but I did have this exchange with a coworker:
Dude, I am really drunk and I'm at some college house party, what should I do?

Response:
Take your shirt off. Like there's any other answer

He knows me too well...
*Golfclap*

Why? He'll just sleep on one of yours.

6-10" here tomorrow. Away we go again...
Yeah, the stuff is suppost to hit tomorrow right when I'm at class. Not thinking it will be that fun of a drive home tomorrow. But I did at least see em out prepping the roads already this afternoon.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Tell Quiz you'll wear a BU jersey if she wears one - and nothing else. :p

I'm rooting for BU and Northeastern, because that combo bumps Maine up to 6th in the PWR. :)

I think if she does that then the decision about watching the beanpot might be moot.....

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Greetings from the Garden. Little more than 50 minutes till the puck drops. I am so mentally exhausted right now, not sure how long I will last.

Oh who am I kidding? I'll be here for the duration, :)

Saw the news before I came here. We're due to get 10-15 inches of snow Weds afternoon and night. Crap.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Things I've learned this weekend:
Indiana sucks

(note: mock anger post ahead  :p )

I'm feeling a lot of hate from you these days, wT. What's up with that? First with the Colts, now with the whole state. What gives? Is it the drive around Gary? 'Cause that's an anomaly. It'd be like me driving US50 / New York Ave out of DC to get to Baltimore, and saying afterwards how terrible Maryland is. (Which I've done.) What'd Indiana ever do to you? Is it Michael Jackson? Axl Rose? Jim Davis? 'Cause we also gave you James Dean, Kurt Vonnegut and Orville Redenbacher. That's gotta be worth something.

I've never really liked Indiana either to be honest. Indianapolis is pretty boring even.
