Evening, Lodge. Aside from getting paid even more money to go away today, I got a great deal on whole NY Strip... 12 lbs for less than $25. Think I know what I'm having for dinner tomorrow night...

This is the first time I've been there for a Tech win when my team wasn't present. Yeah. I'm hardly a good luck charm. I blame what I was wearing tonight.

As much as I hate being away from Houghton right now, today was actually really awesome. My State Executive Council went to the Ronald McDonald House and cooked dinner for all of the people staying there. The smiles on their faces and how appreciative they were was enough to melt just about anyone's heart. There was one little girl that walked right into the kitchen and sat down next to me, and I almost started crying. You could tell that she had some sorts of problems (involuntary movement, etc.) but she was just so happy. I don't think her smile ever faded, as she told me all about the rubber lizard she had, and how her mommy helped her make her necklace.
If any of you ever get the chance to help out with a RMHC, definitely do it.

SLU tied RPI in a fairly entertaining game, where neither team really deserved to lose. #26 Union spanked Clarkson 11-2, so I'm pretty happy with tonights events.
