Nope, German...

Do I really need to spell out that I'm talking about PB's sister...? Even Brent got it...

Even "I" got it? Please. I'm the one who was the catalyst for this whole thing! PB texted me about the tailgate where it all started! :p

I thought we was still talking about the Wedding Gift that bb_dl found in Sweden Bricker. :p

That and Brent's total lack of the proper gender appropriate pronouns there.

I knew the dark hair girl was the girlfriend/PB's sister.

And if there's not flooding in the area, I will be surprised. Okay thunder/lightning show, but nothing major. Just very very heavy rains.

Widespread ~1" rainfall amounts in the metro.

Remember that drought we once had?

If you hadn't noticed, there has been flooding in the area all week. We got 10 inches of rain in about 12 hours at the farm. The river rose 6 feet in an hour.

That whole swath to the south of the metro from around Northfield to Red Wing got absolutely drenched last week. Unfortunately, this week isn't looking much better in that regard.

Supposedly it'll dry out after Wednesday and get hot for the last week of June as a ridge builds, but we'll see.

That is basically the Cannon River watershed. For those somewhat familiar with the area, the water went from its normal level to being a few steps up the Welch Village Ski Area chalet front steps in the course of a few hours.

Yawn, only I'm not going bike riding.

My Captain informed the PowersThatBe last night that I should be promoted and have his recommendation. Now it is just a matter of time (probably by weeks end or so) before I'm on my own and working from 12-6 central. Those night stints are gonna be painful.

Good morning to tLodge! ;)

There is something seriously wrong with you. :D
They secretly live in Hong Kong like Dave SP did for yrs.

I got soaked from a 10% chance of rain. Better luck tomorrow maybe.
RFAlph- if you biked when most people did you probably would be dry!

Correct since I wouldn't have started. :) Actually, I was exaggerating that I got soaked since it wasn't raining that hard and most of my route back was under trees which shield one from the rain to a large extent until they get saturated.

'Morning, Lodge! My internal clock must already be on Eastern time. I have woken up on my own at 5:30AM for the past 2 days.

Congrats hp!

Good Morning Lodge.

For anyone who cares (though I can't imagine why you would) we got 1.75+ inches of rain at our house last night. I was vaguely aware at some point that it was storming but generally slept through it all. Good thing I took down the canopy in the back yard as I doubt it would have survived.
