Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

I don't think you can tell the difference between the two without a lab test to confirm which one it is. The symptoms are basically the same.
We have rapid tests that can confirm just A or B strain flu. In our state, per DPH protocol- they are not longer running tests to confirm H1N1 unless teh person is hospitalized dies or is extremely ill. You can send it with an order and it goes into the black hole- no result comes back and when you call they tell you they aren't testing. They just are assuming if it is (+) then it is the piggy flu. I am not sure where they get off then quoting stats about prevelence etc as the regular flu test is failing some ridiculous % of the time to pick up the thing.

Come on, people, wake up! It's Hump Day.
So you are the reason I woke up when I could've slept late:mad:

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly wednesday has commenced.

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

'Morning, Lodge!

Any word from HP15?? I was hoping for some quality drunk posting. :(
Good point!

I was out for a few days last week; was there any more fallout from gmann's tossing the grenade into the family circle? Last I heard the father-in-law was perhaps considering cancelling the family trip over it all.

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

As predicted it it all nice/ everyone is FINE (*** up, Insecure, Neurotic and Egotistical) and the gmann has decided to back off and let them self destruct unless they mess with his family.

Morning Lodge!

Work-from-home Wednesday is underway.

Today could be a great day! Of course that may mean not too much work gets done.

If UPS is smart they will deliver my TV after 12 for the sake of productivity. :D

That pretty much sums it up. We are all getting together for dinner tonight. I am going to have a hard time keeping my mouth shut.

Rick Pitino = NOT SMRT

If you are having extra marital sex, why would you not use a condom?
Pregnant? Oops, here's $3,000 to fix that.

Plus why are you sleeping with your co-workers wife of all people?

We have those as well. IIRC, swine flu tests as type A (but of course confirmation must be done, and that is only done by the dept of health / CDC - and they've all discontinued that due to the fact the virus has spread so much).

What concerns me is the fact the media blew up this issue so much in the early going when it was a relatively minor concern. This makes it far more likely that people will tend to downplay it when the flu season commences in the fall, when in fact that is the time when this could become a major problem for the public health system (as is apparently the case in the UK now).

Apparently Pitino didn't see the trojan ads for their condoms that don't even feel like they're on. :p

Re: Rep Lodge 80: In a row?

Good Morning Lodge!

I wish I wouldn't have missed the get-together:(
A friend of mine called me last night, said she got some bad news at work and was having a really bad day. She needed someone to talk to, since she was having a really tough time with this, I just couldn't justify hanging her out to dry.
