...that was IT? THAT WAS IT?

People were hyping this driver's test like it was the bloody apocalypse and I got a perfect score! I likely would have passed the darn thing even without studying!

Is this some kind of a joke Alaskans play on people?

(**** near failed the vision test, though - right eye by itself is pretty heinous.)

Gave me a panic attack. Glad I have one more week than you thought I did. WHat is with the sister??

My whole house smells like fish :( (Good thing commie is not here til later) We had the meal catered last night. One of the dishes was fish. I was so congested I couldn't smell it then but walked in from work and the porch reeks of fish. The house almost as bad. It is 25 out. Can't air it out. Baking cookies tomorrow should banish that but UGH!

She apparently told my mom that the friend she's been hanging out with is now boyfriend (like we've all been suspecting for about 3 months). He got a job in Miami, so she went with, only for a couple weeks I guess, but it was still short notice. Whatever, she can do what she wants, she's 22 years old.

My day is off to an awesome start. Back in July a good friend of mine lost his battle with cancer. Long story short........ a few of us got together and wanted to do something for the family. I just met with the widow, son and daughter and informed them that there has been an endowment created to provide a scholarship in memory of their husband/father that will be offered every year going forward to a local high school student. Good stuff.

there are some good thing about missing the trains on the way home... not too many of them, but it does exist on occassion.

So SLU is still playing, in OT against BYE for the second weekend in the past 3 weeks. I guess I'll pony up to the * hockey bar, if only because there are drinks there and I didn't drink as much as I was hoping last night due to being stood up... wasn't too happy.

Dunno... It would be really cool to do, but one of the refund checks I was hoping would come in, hasn't come in yet... so my "fun" funds might be low until I get that check. There is still hope that the check will come in next week, but I'm not holding my breath.
