Good Morning Lodge

In exactly 2 weeks I'll be in Vegas and it will officially be NYE. I can't wait.

Apparently my sister ran off with some guy to Miami.

We could probably set up a room for that, just as long as there are no windows, I don't think either groups want to see what's going on across that wall. ;)

Good morning Lodge.

My day is off to an awesome start. Back in July a good friend of mine lost his battle with cancer. Long story short........ a few of us got together and wanted to do something for the family. I just met with the widow, son and daughter and informed them that there has been an endowment created to provide a scholarship in memory of their husband/father that will be offered every year going forward to a local high school student. Good stuff.

- flight instructor...definitely got drunk
- hired at Pinnacle...yep got drunk
- hired at Lynx...ate Olive Garden
- engaged to Quiz...celebrated another way

I guess I did get drunk a lot. :)

Paging 'Ewe and/or tCBG. I will be in Manchester tonight. It's a short layover, but I'm up for hanging out.

What GE said - *thumbs up* An endowed scholarship is a great way to make sure he isn't forgotten, and I'd love for my memory to live on in the same way.

Thanks. Initially we were going to keep it simple and plant a tree in his memory. However, once word spread that we were accepting funds to do that we started receiving money from all over the place and before we knew it we had more than enough money to look at other options.

Will check with tcbg, but believe plans are to hang at Casa TCBG & watch UNH- Maine with a certain other poster & baby. What's you ETA & ETD?

Woohoo! Talked the boss into buying pizza for lunch today for the skeleton crew we have on staff.

It's the third wave of layoffs today, with the lab guys and final techs being sent home for the season. But, we already have work lined up for late January/February in the lab... so they should be back soon.

Every time I see someone wearing those goofy Skechers shoes I just want to point & laugh at them. It's like a designer at Skechers was watching The Jimmy episode on Seinfeld and said "I bet we could get people to buy shoes as ridiculous as those."
