Bicep SLAP tear and Subacromial Decompression (roughly translated, I tore my bicep from the rotator cuff and had to have some bone ground down)

Perhaps you should look into Culinary Arts ;):D (not that I'm biased or anything)
Yikes! Get well soon!

And I'm thinking along those lines; either culinary arts or nutrition science. I want to meet with my advisor first before I make a decision, though.

Attention ShirtlessBob and other foodies, attention ShirtlessBob and other foodies:

This week's South Park is required viewing. I'm. Not. Kidding.
I plan on watching it tonight.

I wish I had a great story like "I was in a bar fight with this guy twice my size" or "I fell after getting hacked by Freddy/Quiz" or "I was trying to master this freaky move hanging from a swing" but no, I did it at work. Guy thought it would be a good idea to put a 6" deep pan overloaded with pasta on the TOP SHELF of the walk-in cooler (which is at my eye level to begin with). I try to pull down said pan not realizing it's as full as it is and...boom goes the dynamite. 4 months later they finally realize that there really may be something more than "shoulder strain" wrong with it and I have surgery. I have a really cool picture somewhere of my bicep flopping over the instrument from the arthoscope.

Bob - Sounds like it's been a rough semester for you, given the situation with your mom, is there a way you could talk to the professor about that and perhaps do some make up work to get yourself to a C? Could you retake the class?
Can't do any make up work, but I can retake the class, which is what I'll probably do.

Good morning, Lodge. Time for class, and then to the grocery store.

Re: Rep Lodge 125: The Thanksgiving Dinner Version: Gimme Some More...

It's *ing morning. *ing hell. How do you jack wagons function. No human should be up at this hour.

24oz Khaos, coming up.
Um... I was up for a couple of hours by the time you posted this. :o

Amen, brother. Commute to school earlier this year = 90 minutes on public transportation. Commute to work now = 7 minutes.

Morning Lodge.
2 more work days until my 9 day weekend, which is being kicked off by a Joe Nichols concert. :)

I think you should grow a pair. 6:30 isn't that early. I've had jobs where I had to be at work by 5:00. Hell, I'm up before 6:30 everyday now and I have a normal job. :p
I'm happy with my 20-25 minute commute, it is pretty low-stress and that is about as short as I could go and be able to get out of the city. I wake up in the morning and look out the window and see woods, not other houses, that is the most important thing.
I have you all beat, my commute, a 30 second walk down the hallway or an 800 mile drive, depending on how you look at it. :p

Mornin' Loj! Lil' Rocket turns 1 today. WOOT! Are 1 year olds allowed SENANICANS?
Happy Birthday Lil' Rocket!

I think he is allowed SENANICANS! Especially if they involve his birthday cake!

Re: Rep Lodge 125: The Thanksgiving Dinner Version: Gimme Some More...

Happy birthday to the little Firecracker! Hope there will be some pictures featuring cake on facebook, Rocket!
Back from a volunteer interview. Went well, lots of potential, so we'll see. I don't want to get my hopes too high.

Re: Rep Lodge 125: The Thanksgiving Dinner Version: Gimme Some More...

I just checked my bank accounts. I have officially spent all of the money I can on the house until I get the government tax credit sent to me. Looks like the work will be coming to a halt fairly soon. :p

Head north.

No, Asia is north. I have not be surrounded by as many Asians while in Toronto since..... Lowell! :p

Seriously, just surrounded. The officle they gave me had 9 people around it, 3 dudes (1asian) and 6 chicks (ALL a-girls). I would bet the HK office is just the same :D

Anyone in the Twin Cities area looking to hire an entry level Biomedical Engineer? My sister needs a job so she can actually pay me rent.

I'm sure Commie could give her a job, cleaning up bodily fluids and stuff. ;)

Southwest Asia, too. There are two Indian brothers on my kids' hockey team. I asked how they came to be interested in ice hockey. "We're from Toronto." Naturally!
