Re: Rensselaer Engineers: Pick to Click: 2012-13 Edition
Looks like CJ will sit tonight, so if I'm allowed to change, I'll take Miller.
Yes. Yes, you can. And, with that change, you take home the weekly win. Congratulations! That makes you the 8th different winner of the season. And, with 14 regular posters at this time, I guess there's only 6 more weeks left in the season before the whole thing shuts down.
In the overall standings, the top four places held steady, lugnut used his win to move up to a tie for 9th, RHamilton jumps from T-13 to T-6, and knsmith keeps dropping down the standings as he has been taking a break from the game. Ralph tallies a point from Neal's assist on Bailen's first goal on Friday and another from Haggerty's assist on the game-winning goal on Saturday and keeps the longest active streak alive.
On Friday, with Bailen ineligible as the top-scoring defenseman, two points was the high-water mark for the Engineers and everybody and their grandmother was worth two points for RPI.
Craig Bokenfohr (primary assist on Bubela's goal) (nobody), Milos Bubela (first goal of the game) (RKarger), Luke Curadi (secondary assist on McGowan's goal) (nobody), Guy Leboeuf (secondary assist on Bubela's goal) (RHamilton), Curtis Leonard (assist on Bailen's second, game-clinching goal) (nobody), Mark McGowan (game-winning goal) (TuteScrooge), and Bryce Merriam (win) (lugnut). Two points was the high-water mark for the Lakers, too.
Paul Chiasson (first goal) (hawthr, lugnut92, and MavHockey14),
Justin Stevens (assist on Zay's goal) (nobody), and
Matthew Zay (second goal) (nobody).
On Saturday, Bailen was again the highest-scoring Engineer in PtC points. So, your next best hope was either
Mark Miller (game-tying goal and assist on the empty netter) (lugnut) or
Marty O'Grady (empty netter goal and assist on Burgdoerfer's goal) (RHamilton).
Chris Bodo scored Mercyhurst's only goal and nobody picked him. In fact, cnor (who picked Blakey) was the only poster to pick up a point from Mercyhurst's players on Saturday.
The lead-in post for RPI's games against Princeton and Quinnipiac will be up after they play their non-conference games next week.
