Re: Rensselaer Engineers: Pick to Click: 2012-13 Edition

Congratulations go to myself, MavHockey, and RPIHFH. It was the second weekly win for myself and MavHockey wihle it was RPIHFH's first of the season.

hawthr outscored Ralph by a point, so they're back to tied for first, just like after Week 1. vizoroo outscored hawthr by a point, so she narrows the gap by a point to make it only 5. It was a very quiet week in the overall standings, with the main advance being that RPIHFH continues his / her climb up the standings and has now broken into the Top 10.

On Friday, Garrett Noonan was the popular pick for BU and he didn't disappoint, earning himself 2 PtC points with an assist on Sahir Gill's goal. But, Gill also had an assist and Cason Hohmann also had a goal and assist, making them the two most useful Terriers for the night. Neither was picked. For RPI, Ryan Haggerty (MavHockey14, RPIHFH, TuteScrooge, and vizoroo) and CJ Lee (myself) were the two goal-scorers and assisted on each other's goal, making them worth 3 points.

On Saturday, three of UNH's goals were scored by defensemen, again making them the high scorers and worth three points. Justin Agosta, Connor Hardowa, and Eric Knodel were those three goal scorers and were not picked by anyone. For RPI, Curtis Leonard was credited with both of RPI's goals and therefore exploded for a whopping 6 PtC points. He was also not picked by anyone.

Re: Rensselaer Engineers: Pick to Click: 2012-13 Edition

Link back to the title post with details on scoring

RPI travels south this weekend as the Engineers return to league play against Quinnipiac and Princeton.

The Bobcats are 10-0-0 in ECAC play while the Tigers are one of only three other teams in the ECAC to have a league record better than 0.500.

The feline pair just swept a pair of Ivies, needing overtime on Friday night before finishing their games in regulation on Saturday.

Picks for the weekend must be in by 7:00PM on Friday. Otherwise, tough cookies.

You may not choose the following players for this game:
Rensselaer: Jacob Laliberte NOR Nick Bailen
Quinnipiac: Jeremy Langlois NOR Loren Barron
Princeton: Andrew Calof NOR Eric Meland

Statistics / Rosters:
Rensselaer: Statistics | Roster
Quinnipiac: Statistics | Roster (beware of A. / L. Barron; C. / K. Jones confusion)
Princeton: Statistics | Roster

Re: Rensselaer Engineers: Pick to Click: 2012-13 Edition

As much as we have done well in non-league action, the Brown rule still takes effect in ECAC play.
