Regional Rankings

Re: Regional Rankings

This afternoon.

Just looking at the numbers from the criteria above. Let's see what the committee comes up with later today!! :)

1- UNE
2- SALVE
3- HOBART
4- TRINITY
5- GENESEO
6- OSWEGO
7- UTICA
8- PLYMOUTH STATE
9- NORWICH
10- NICHOLS

Utica/Oswego could flip as could Salve/Hobart but numbers don't lie1

I believe there is a TYPO in this above. According to the ranking I saw they had Hobart as #2 but with a 20-4-3 record and UNE as #3 with a 17-5-5 record and I believe those records are incorrect and need to be flip-flopped. UNE should be #2 and Hobart #3. If you go by the records!!

NCAA site fixed it. UNE is now listed #2 and Hobart #3 with appropriate records.

Thought that was strange having Hobart ahead of UNE but I did not notice the screwed up records. Thanks Nefan and jcase.

Re: Regional Rankings

I would say Pool C pecking order is:

1. St. Norbert / Adrian loser
2. Salve Regina
3. U. of New England (if needed)
4. Hobart (if needed)
5. Oswego (over Marian due to large adv in RNK)
6. Geneseo (if needed) (again, Marian's RNK is killing them as other criteria are pretty close. That 1-4 looks pretty ****ing)
7. Trinity (again, I think RNK is the deciding factor)

Just my $.02.

Along the lines of a bowel-movement. ;)

This ranking is fairly ridiculous. Where's Endicott? And Hobart is ranked far too high. Oswego, a bit too high as well.

(Yes, I realize that "revised" rankings can easily be pulled out of their azzes next week. They can always massage the numbers at their pleasure.)

This ranking is fairly ridiculous. Where's Endicott? And both Hobart and Oswego are ranked far too high, by any reasonable metric.

We've seen a few seasons lately where the selections made sense, but, thus far this year, they don't.

(I know, I know, never mind, because better rankings can easily be pulled out of their azzes next week. They can always massage the numbers...)

ummmm.....never mind.....not worth it.......
