Quinnipiac - Site of the 2014 NCAA Frozen Four

BC's game from last year's Hockey East tournament is on there though... Maybe they don't think Lindenwood is real?
It is possible that Lindenwood last year wasn't viewed as being an NCAA team because they were in the process of transitioning from NAIA. Personally, I think if a D-I athlete accomplishes something against a D-I opponent, then it should be a D-I record, but what do I know.

You are correct. They weren't technically a D1 program at the time.

But they count Sacred Heart games in this lot.

Geez. But they count Sacred Heart games. The Lindenwood game was a playoff game too booth in the CHA playoffs. To me it is worthy of inclusion, as Lindenwood played a full D1 schedule.

They don't count records if they occur in the 2 year probation period.

Question --

The QU website is showing that all-session tickets are $25 and single game tickets are $15. But if I go through the motions of looking to buy an all-session ticket it is only charging me $10?

Am I missing something?

UPDATE: I just called the ticket office. Apparently all they have left are SRO tickets. Seating is sold out.

However, they are expecting to release back to the public any unused portions of the Frozen Four schools' ticket allotments sometime next week.

Re: Quinnipiac - Site of the 2014 NCAA Frozen Four

Quinnipiac is really looking forward to hosting the Women's Frozen Four and is planning on some new features:

• Thursday Practices Open to the Public (Concessions and Merchandise also Open)
• Thursday's Press Conferences to be streamed to the Video Boards for all to see in the basketball venue
• Red Carpet Arrival for all four teams, when they arrive for Thursday's Banquet and for every game
• Much, Much more

All available seats have been sold and QU is now selling standing room. More "seats" could be available pending the FF teams taking or returning tickets reserved for the teams.

Does anyone know if there is online streaming of the games? The NCAA website for women's hockey is awful.....

Incredibly it doesn't look like it....Quinny's FF site is awful too. No mention of it. Not even live stats. Disgusting.

Complete Mickey Mouse operation. Even our local PWHL youth hockey league has video streams available for championship weekend, and always has live scoring. And it's all run by volunteers.

You forget that ESPN has the rights to all championship events so the blame lies with the NC$$ and ESPN.

Re: Quinnipiac - Site of the 2014 NCAA Frozen Four

Thanks Trillium....I am disgusted!! So Fred Davenport, above you seem impressed with the way that Quinny will be covering all the Pregame events....how and where do we find these streams and if possible, maybe mention to someone there that they might want to stream the action as well.....nothing against you Fred, I'm just overcome with disbelief and PO'd that these games will not be seen by more than a sold out arena...what some 2000! Honest to god, where are their brains.....

The games are being streamed at no cost. NCAA is doing it, game day you will probably be able to pick up the links at the participating schools' sites as well as NCAA.com.

Re: Quinnipiac - Site of the 2014 NCAA Frozen Four

Thanks KTDC if that's the case but if Hux is accurate then will that be the case? Why wouldn't the NCAA website not mention their live streaming? If espy is involved then I'm hoping that Watchespn or espn3 will stream the games....

Re: Quinnipiac - Site of the 2014 NCAA Frozen Four

Trillium, the only Mickey Mouse here is you.

KTDC is correct. The NCAA will provide a link for live streaming by the weekend. Quinnipiac has had to wait for the NCAA to move on this. (QU streamed most of their home basketball and hockey games on ESPN3 this year). Also, all three games are completely sold out with about 3,300 seats for each game. There will also be hundreds of SRO tickets sold for Friday's games and probably over a thousand for the championship game. The TD Bank Sports Center will be rocking with its NHL HD scoreboards and superb intimate architecture. I already have my tickets for all three games.

There is a reason that the Quinnipiac men's and women's hockey teams have done so well the last few years. QU has become a college hockey mecca.

Mazel Tov Antioch, and I'm hoping you're correct but why is this all being done in the last few days leading up to the games? If QU is such a Mecca, their media relations should've had this solved months ago...I'm honestly thrilled that 3300 will be going nuts this weekend but for the NCAA website not to have this yet is just numb!! Thanks for the info though....hope it's accurate!

Zoofer, Gopher fans have been assured by the Gopher Women's Hockey webmaster that streaming is happening. We believe it, and some of us here in Minnesota would also have serious issues if the games weren't being streamed!

All 3 Frozen Four games, including both semifinals & the championship game, will be streamed online at http://NCAA.com .
