First period ends tied 1-1. We played pretty well in our own end until the penalty parade. We better see some even up calls.

And I'll call it again, 2-3 goals from Q-Pac in the second, since the multiple 5x3 wore us out a bit.

The entire rhythm of the period was changed by those 3 rapid fire penalty calls. Hard to get back in sync when you are down 2 men even for short periods of time. I am sure Kazzie would like that backhander that beat him back as it was slightly soft. Decent first period but is the ice kind of messy or something? have not seen so many bouncing or rolling pucks in a long time. Seems like QU stacks the center ice zone with 9 players at a time. May have to devise some better way to dump and chase perhaps flipping the puck over them. QU is fast but even they have some trouble staying with Nanne and Melanson. Certainly did not want this to turn into a special teams game but when players go down easily and your stick is anywhere near their skates, they seem to be making the call. Considering we are down 4 regulars for this game, we held our own very well.
