Quinnipiac Bobcats 2023 Off-Season: The View from the Top

I think the Jones’ took us to the next level and the level has been sustained and inched up since then. They worked their tails off day in and day out and showed everyone else the way. It was good to see they were in Tampa. Reid certainly was a trailblazer for the program, no doubt and has had a lasting impact as both a player and assistant so we are probably splitting hairs.

Toews impact is probably felt more since he left then when he was there, which speaks to how good he’s been in the NHL cause he was fantastic for us. Of course plenty of others along the way, Peca stands out to me cause he was just different on the ice, everyone could see the skill, and he also willed us to the first Frozen Four with his performance in Providence, still stunning what he did with that goal against Canisius and then the natural hat trick slammed the door on the future national champions.

My guess is he goes west, but he would certainly be a welcomed addition. That would solidify the offense being expected to continue as it was this year, in my opinion. It all comes down to goaltending for me. If we get quality goaltending (doesn’t need to even be Perets level), then we could reasonably expect to be in St Paul

Please stop bullying Ty in the UW thread. I'm sure he's very happy for his ex-teammates. He seems like a very nice guy from interviews and I'm excited to see him play for a competent coach.

The added context is it appears he is the likely candidate of Rand Pecknold’s “someone gave a kid $100k to take him from us” comment. Not condoning but his continued pursuit of bringing it up makes more sense now

Stop whining….Timothy. We in the know and the circle are aware of EXACTLY why he left for losing pastures….it’s not to attend a below average state school in the Arctic tundra

Hey “big” Al…what year did you play for the program? What number were you? I don’t remember any “Al’s”. I don’t recall asking you to explain my comments or give your opinion on how I choose to react to trolls….If you defended my program to a troll…a REAL fan isn’t going to “apologize” for your comments. We’re all not gonna sit back and take the harsh treatment or comments….especially when you’ve laced em up and got pucks deep during the growing stages of the program. So, did you wear 18 in '11 or 11 in '18? Or some other number/year?

It's one thing to troll other programs, sometimes even appropriate, most times not. But to disparage fellow fans is a bit over the top.

Sorry if this offends you but it needs to be said. We're all here for the same reasons.

I’m very likely not your elder (which would be shocking to anyone seeing this post due to your antics), I graduated in 2015 but have been on here for over 10 years and we are one of the more respected fanbases on here because of a) Mark and b) our respect to our opponents and focus on the bobcats. So ya I’m going to jump in when someone is dragging this groups good reputation through the mud.

What you do on here is better suited for Twitter. The funny thing is I was just providing context to Wisconsin fans, I’ve apologized for you before and you didn’t comment, I didn’t even apologize for you this time.

In public forum, towards a kid who has openly struggled with mental health, is just not a low we should stoop to. Sure he took $100k to leave, you would’ve too cause I’m 99% positive you didn’t play 4 years at Quinnipiac.
