Quinnipiac Bobcats 2022-23: The Quest Continues...

Do you have NESN on your cable or streaming package? If so you should have NESN+ as well.

Unfortunately no we cut the cable a few years ago as it got to expensive and our streaming service (HULU) does not carry NESN. I think only FuboTV has NESN and they do not have most of the other channels my family watches so not an option and getting both is also not an option. I will be checking the live stats throughout the game.

Well definitely disappointed in the live stats it was fine until the end of the first period when it stopped working. Thanks to the Quinnipiac Hockey blog for putting up pretty much live updates on their twitter feed.

Since Atlantic Hockey conference has now passed the ECAC with ANOTHER dismal out of conference showing last night 1-4-1….a win against UMass provides some insurance in the Pairwise when one night they don’t show up to play and match all their opponents best effort and lose to a 59 PW ranking conference opponent. I can only imagine what out of conference record is not counting Quinnipiac and Harvard

Nice weekend for the boys in Ireland. Played well in both games and today's was a great one that had a playoff feel to it. It's a shame they couldn't win it in regulation or OT but the still are Belpot champs! Ding! Ding! Ding!

I have to say that the most impressive Bobcat to me thus far has been Zach Metsa. As solid a defenseman as I've seen at Quinnipiac. He clearly leads by example and always seems to be in the right place at the right time. And his 4-year progression as a D-I athlete has been extremely fun to watch. We should all be thankful that he decided to come back for this fifth season.

While we netted 2 PPG's today, it still feels like it's our Achilles. Too much passing looking for the pretty shot. Throw the puck on net and see what happens! Other than that, they've been fun to watch this season.

No. 2 ranked team in the country. Pretty good start considering the conventional wisdom was this could be a retooling season.

Apparently both teams looking ahead to the game tonight….another low Pairwise club that will be punishing if you lose. The difference is….it’s Clarkson. You can’t just show up and expect to beat a team with several high draft picks. They ALWAYS bring their best effort and it’s not a shame to get beat by them…in any given year…..but presently….it will really hurt OUR PW….I don’t know how many “slip-ups” you can afford when the league is 39 or higher in the PW. We have 13 new players…I think… and it’s bound to happen.

I know our league is weak again this year, but Quinnipiac, for the most part, ran the No. 10 team in the country out of the building tonight. Dominating performance against a really good Harvard team. They had their push late, but the game was already basically over at 3-0.

This QU team is legit this season -- probably going to be No. 1 in the country on Monday, and really starting to seem like this group is going to make a run towards the Frozen Four.

15 NHL draft pick Harvard had no answer for the speed and breakout of Qpac. This team was so sharp the first two periods. One of the best performances I’ve seen and it’s been since 2008. #1 in the poll again for how many times now? I’m thinking 4X? Can we get just one #1 ranking in May……

Well it's official. We're #1 in this week's polls.

I mean it's cool and all, and I'm sure Rand and the team spent 5 minutes enjoying it today and then went right back to work preparing for our next opponent.

Let's keep this momentum going. Still got a lot of season left.

Go Bobcats!

It is cool, and nice recognition for the body of work thus far, but it's meaningless and puts a target on their chests. Lot's of work yet to be done and the reality is that from here on out, it's all about the pairwise.

It’s still great…..for the school (especially if you’re an alum….like me…and you have to explain what Quinnipiac is) the fans….diehard and the new ones…students….etc etc….it’s GREAT….so why downplay it?
