Quinnipiac Bobcats 2021-22 - Let's get this party started!

That was as good as a performance as you will see against a good team like Northeastern. Suffocating defensive effort.
When they find their PP they have the potential to be lethal.

Congrats to TJ Freidman on being named tourney MVP and Yaniv Perets as all-tourney goalie.

Great assessment of the weekend!

I am happy with what I saw this weekend for sure. I was sad to see the power play struggle in both games. A good power play and we could have been talking about two wins. I'm sure it will come around. Looking forward to Vermont this weekend. And very looking forward to ND the following.

Thoughts and Observations from Quinnipiac's 2-0 win over Vermont

Great write up as usual.

I am looking forward to this weekends games. After the past weekend series with Bemidji, I'm sure ND will be looking to make a statement and try their best for a road sweep against another ranked opponent. It will be interesting to see how our guy's handle it. Hopefully they keep up the great defensive play we have seen so far and get that PP going.

When the power play gets going, and it will, watch out! While a bit sluggish to date, this offense has tons of potential. The defense and goalie tandem look to be able to keep us in games and let the offense do its job.

Very excited about this weekend. Not only will it be my first time there in what seems like forever, the quality match-up has series of the year potential.

I'm sure Rand will have the boys ready to go.

A little piece of trivia for you for this series.

Marcus Chorney, I think a senior on your team, has a brother named Taylor who is ten years older and played at North Dakota.

I believe that North Dakota and Quinnipiac have only played two regular season games against each other, maybe 14 years ago or so, and Taylor played for North Dakota in that series.

The boys are the sons of one of the all-time greats at North Dakota, Marc Chorney.

Just read an article about that. I like the fact that dad will be rooting for Q!

Where have all the posters gone, a different forum ?

it does seem a bit quiet here so far this season.

can’t wait until pick drop tonight. This has been the longest work week ever. I have tickets for tomorrow’s game, but not 100% sure I can make it yet.

Kudos to Quinnipiac for thoroughly dominating UND tonight. Bobcats might just be the best team out East this season. Hopefully North Dakota can give QU a better game tomorrow night.

Thanks... it was nice to finally beat you! I thought it was a well played game on both sides. Both teams seem to be pretty even but I'd give QU the edge in the skill department. I am expecting a completely different UND team tomorrow.
