Yup... 3 fluke goals for Clarkson. We outplayed them for the most part but came up short. Shake it off and come back tomorrow. Pretty sure we'll need to win out to have any chance at an at-large bid to the big dance.

Clarkson made some of those bounces, camped out bit to close to KP, blinding him on at least 1 goal. They did play well...agree on running the table the rest of the season, which in ECAC is not easy.

That is the breaks in hockey sometimes. They most certainly have to win out and get to Lake Placid in my opinion. If they do that its at least 24 wins. At least one win in Placid probably gets them a tournament berth. Quinnipiac outside of losing did have a good night though because of the teams around them. Providence tying a terrible Vermont team 1-1 was huge and Maine losing at home to a bad UConn team was big as well. 15th doesn't leave them any room for error. They need to get to at least 12th in my opinion to feel any sense of safety.

This is a really good team that played well enough to win last night. They aren’t a great team yet. While I’d love for the Sr’s to get another shot at the NCAAs, (they deserve it) I don’t think realistically they’re a top team.

Two fluke goals but KP was still the best player on the ice last night. He made some amazing saves.

I hope they do well. RPI will be tough, and Union gives us fits once in a while. Tonight could be tough coming off last nights disappointing outcome.

This is a fun team and they skated with CU last night much better than they did up north. Could have just as easily been a 2-1 win.

That didn't feel like a 6-1 rout. SLU hung around for 2 full periods before the wheels fell off and we scored 4 PPG's in the 3rd. You know things are bad for a team when the goalie gets called for unsportsmanlike conduct after a goal. Very undisciplined play by the Saints in the 3rd.

Tufto's tying goal seemed to energize the team. A totally different Bobcat squad came out in the 3rd.

Jermain tucked away a juicy rebound, Dilly with laser, Wheels with a pair, and Guus with the wraparound.

The end result was what we needed but it sure looked rocky after 40. Four more huge points up for grabs next weekend in the capital district.

For all the complaints and concerns, this team is two wins from 20 for the season, and five points up for the bye with 4 games to play.

The year-to-year consistency in this program is staggering.

Year over year consistency as result of solid recruiting, great coaching is staggering. And, I believe this is going up a notch over the next 2-4 years due to the group coalescing now in front of us and the pipeline. On top of this, frankly, the group here on this board and some of the other ECAC teams Kep and LT, Iowa and others here with Brave Bobcats all make up a very knowledgeable group of fans I love reading comments from!

Agreed but even just a 20 win season won’t be enough to get into the tournament. Lake Placid is a must if they want the NCAA tournament.

I’d love to see the Sr’s get to Lake Placid, they deserve the trip. Plus, I really want to go :). They could do damage there. Bothe COrnell and Clarkson know they can Slate with them. KP has been a stud.

Watched Odeon’s goal again on SCTop10. That was sick and I also got to see the in your face moment when he skates by the guy that hooked him on his way to the penalty box. (Live, not on espn)

I think that and OC hit, woke them up last night.

I get that point. The tournament is the goal, and anything less is a disappointment. That said, it's still **** impressive that they do this every year and at this point a 20-win season/top-4 conference finish isn't even appreciated.

Also, the way this season started, I'd have absolutely signed for this back in November when we thought this was going to be a down year. It still might be -- but I'll take this as our retooling year any day.

No doubt. I talked to someone who covers the ECAC who was at the Clarkson game and he said that QU got no luck in that Clarkson game and is a dangerous team heading into the tournament.

We all know what it is like to come into the post season, the ECAC as the front runner: lot of pressure!

Coming in somewhat under the radar with not as much to lose makes this team dangerous but the team that played these past 2 weeks is not the team we are still flush with optimism for this year....I keep saying this, Jayden Lee and Desi, healthy and on their game gives this team 3 - 4 lines of depth. If they only have 2 - 3 lines of depth, my feeling is this becomes building year or bridge year to the beginning of a several year run where we expect them to run the table from September on.

Their passing was very nice this weekend. But, you are getting more ice time for Chorney and McGee and no breakout Defensive lines, this have to say we have seen Michael Lombardi up his game quite a bit lately, as well....good to see, but we need healthy team and full depth and hopefully we can get these guys back and on the ice healthy again. Any update on Lee?

We're third in the ECAC despite an awful first half of the year. If that doesn't give you optimism for what this group is capable of, then I can't help you. No reason to think they can't at least get to Lake Placid.

"Ugh!! Tells me shoulder....deep bruise, which impacts range of motion and overall performance. That was a BIG hit from SWEEZEY....Once again, Yale and/or Harvard big hit knocks the speed out of the Bobcat lineup....this was a clean hit....hope it is not rotator cuff but that can take easily month to heal and restore range of motion time frame is closer to 8 - 10 weeks!

Once Aint Lawrence University resorted to thug-hockey, Bobcats woke up and ran up the score..Karlis clearly had his bell rung with that nasty hit and the team responded....Jayden Lee has big future here and made positive impact....being 18-19 your gift is that you heal quicker than 25 year olds and you happen to be at one other best Physical Therapy Universities on the planet....get well and get back to where you once belonged.....

Unfortunately Q has a 25% chance of getting an At Large Bid according to CHN's Pairwise Probability Matrix. Not sure how they dropped 4 SPOTS losing to #7 in Pairwise Clarkson and winning the next night. Some result somewhere has put them on the outside looking in. The teams above us play high ranked Pairwise opponents so they wont drop to 17/18 (most likely) As of now we need to run the table and make it to the tournament final to get an AL bid. It would really hurt to be one or two Pairwise spots to getting in. If they get in they can beat ANYONE. Look what Yale did in 2013. Finding myself being a huge Alaska- Anchorage fan this weekend!

St. Lawrence is such a negative team that even a win against them hurts.
