OK here it is:

ECAC Hockey announced Wednesday night the following:
Bobcats v Princeton 7PM Friday

Harvard & Yale withdrew from post season.

Cornell and Clarkson received byes
- RPI v Colgate

Spectator restriction for Bobcat - Tigers:
3 guests per student athlete
no other spectators other than essential game operations personnel permitted in PUC

Games on ESPN+

I wonder what the ECAC does for lake placid. Might make sense to just move it to one of the school venues if no fans.

I’m guessing we’ll see 200 to 300 people in the building. 3 guests per player is almost 200

Placid, if held, will be fan-less. They're probably contractually obligated so might as well play there.

Of course, this assumes D-I hockey continues after today...

I have to believe that with the pending shutdown of the NHL (teams have been told not to skate/practical) any further NCAA sports will be curtailed as well. And if the NCAA doesn't do it, look for schools to prohibit participation themselves, ala the Ivy's.

The panic level has been ratcheted way up in the last 24 hrs...

If Cornell wasn't having the season they are having my guess they would have bailed out already. Shafer would go nuts if the Ivy League decided for him and Cornell.

Bummer that the season gets cut short.

Well folks, that's it....it is over! ECAC shuts it all down, no games, no Quinnipiac v Princeton....no nothing....that's it and a very special "it's over Johnny!" for my Rambo fans and one special admirer update NY.

Not sure how this plays out post ECAC - - but my guess is this season is a wrap! Shocked the $#!+ out of me, but Bobcats finish season 3rd place in ECAC (as I predicted - dumb luck!) and 16th in Pairwise....which is pretty good for this team.....hopefully we all live for a next few seasons, but Bobcat Hockey is going to be very strong these next few years!

Tonight would've been Game 1 of the quarters. Hard to believe the season is over, but the right decision was made.

Going to miss the seniors. At least they went out with a win (Yale 5-0).

Interesting side note, this is the first time since Rand's first season 1994-95 we ended the season with a win. Overall this is just the 4th time ever that's happened. Hopefully the 5th time comes next year in Pittsburgh!

If KP & Odeen hang around, I can’t imagine this team not getting some early recognition as a Frozen Four contender. With the talent coming in, and coming back, this should be an exciting team to watch next season.

Drew, we might need to get our tix to UND early :)

Absolutely. No waiting until the last minute like I did at ASU back in November where I was forced to buy those awful standing room tickets up against the glass. (luckily i was able to sit with you and the rest of the QU fans in the second game)

I really miss going on the road. The past 5 or so years haven't been kind to me for travel weekends. I thought this season that was starting to change and then my job stability was thrown out the window just before the first puck drop back in October.

As of now, I'm supposed to be finished in June so next season doesn't look promising either. However, the bright spot to this COVID-19 mess is that it really wreaked havoc with our Chinese factory and rumor has it many customers are expecting our US production to ramp up again as a safeguard. With only 3-1/2 months to go we're hoping to hear something soon.

Someday I'll get back to my quest of visiting every ECAC barn... Lynah, Cheel, and RPI are the only 3 left. For now, thank God for ESPN+.
