By waiting for free agency he was essentially telling AZ he wasn't interested in whatever they had on the table. It's a calculated risk because there's always the possibility no offers get made. Glad he got something to continue pursing the dream.

I agree and he's local. Hope to get to see him a few times next season.

Alex Barron signs with Witchita Thunder, Justin Agosta signs with Manchester Monarchs, Michael Garteig signs with the Utica Comets.

QUAlum2004, Thanks for the great work on the blog. I have been enjoying reading it.

I have been following all of the Alum's that are playing in NHL preseason games. It's great to see them doing well.
We are big Ranger fan's here and I found myself rooting for Toews and St. Dennis to score against my team. I would happily take a loss if it at the hands of a former Bobcat. At least for now :).

Are we almost ready to move on from the post season thread to the official 2017-18 season thread?

Almost... only another week to go. Season ticket holder BBQ tonight so we're getting close!

Is it October yet?

One week from today exhibition hockey at the......Bank? With TD not renewing their sponsorship not quite sure. For now I will go with up on the hill.
